I recently had an unpleasant experience at Pizza Milano when they failed to cater to my children’s lactose intolerance by refusing to prepare a half cheese pizza, which they had done in the past. Despite explaining the dietary restrictions, I was met with a firm no. Upon inquiring further, I was told that the refusal was due to concerns about cheese possibly sliding onto the cheese-free half during baking. Although I assured them that a slight overlap would be acceptable and suggested cutting the pizza accordingly to avoid any issues, the representative was unyielding and unhelpful.
This experience was disheartening, especially since Pizza Milano had accommodated such requests in the past. The unwillingness to cater to dietary restrictions displayed a lack of understanding and compassion for customers with allergies, which is quite disappointing. Moreover, the explanation about the shift in service due to new staff was unsatisfactory. The decline in customer service and flexibility has significantly marred my perception of Pizza Milano, a place we used to enjoy.
I sincerely hope that Pizza Milano revisits its customer service protocols to ensure inclusivity and accommodation for all patrons, regardless of dietary restrictions. It's essential for eateries to exhibit a level of understanding and willingness to meet their customers’ needs, which was sorely lacking in this instance at...
Read moreIf I could give it a 0/5, I would. I pre ordered a full Italian hoagie over the phone for pickup. I arrived with three of my friends as a table was leaving. I walked up to the register with 2 soft drinks and let her know I was there to pick up my food. From the start, the lady at the front was extremely disrespectful and snarky. As I sat down to eat my food, I noticed that our Italian dressing cup was halfway full. (For a full hoagie, I expected a full cup)… I politely walked up to the counter and requested if I could have an extra cup because what we were given was not enough. She looked at me and said “It is $1.07 upcharge for extra sauce.” and I replied as I knew, and I apologized for being inconsiderate of the situation but explained how the cup was not filled. She then huffed and puffed away from the counter and then proceeded to toss the sauce in a very rude manner over the counter. I then had called to speak to a manager and was cut short and told “the boss was tired and the reasoning was due to short staffed”. My friends and I visit Pizza Milano frequently in between our schooling, so for this experience to occur was very surprising. I can’t say less about the food being amazing, but the staff and service...
Read moreThis place used to be 'our' lunch groups spot!... to eat a great hoagie, fries, drink when I worked at Robinson Mall. Even though the hoagie shrunk to HALF the portion we received years ago, it was fairly good. My service experience was 'creepy'...when I stated I wanted my hoagie baked a little longer, I got a 'deer in the headlights look!'. Lol... There was only 2 other people eating lunch there. This place needs a for real!! 'cosmetic update!' Business would flow in and out, if it didn't have the same decor, same pics on walls, tables, chairs, (80's! era) the same looking place, that I ate at 15+ years ago! It was kind of a depressing, closed old blinds on the windows kind of place. I would definitely return if it had a 'face-lift ' and a bigger and better priced LUNCH SPECIALS? I think $15.00 is waay! too much for a lunch special? (tip included) The owner? /delivery person? left the back door open and it was 'cold!' instead of comforting and cozy! Sorry! guys! I was generous...
