First time at this location. Told the front desk we came to order take out. She sent us to the empty bar under the to-go sign. Me and my 6ft2 grandson sat at the bar for 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. We noticed a worker at the end of the bar texting and then chatting up a server. Finally after 5 minutes he asked what we needed. Hey I'm all for appreciating food service workers with excessive tipping. But I can't accept being ignored for texting or flirting. It will be a while before I try this location again. We left without ordering. Funny enough we found a place to get food that had staff acknowledge us as soon as we sat down, right around the corner. Second visit 8 months later. We ordered a blue moon and a mango martini. The beer was fine the martini undrinkable - too much mango puree. Then we ordered a cup of clam chowder and a side salad. The clam chowder was very good. The salad was fine, except it came with onions after requesting no onions. Then we ordered the Friday fish fry and fried shrimp lunch. The fish fry was crispy, oily and flavorless. The fried shrimp was also under seasoned. In the end it was one of the worst fried fish lunches I've ever had. I cannot recommend Red Lobster for fried fish.

Typically have had a good experience here, but recently was highly disappointed with the pick-up experience. We ordered a fairly expensive, but very easy to carry (not that it should matter), CURBSIDE pick-up order, NOT in-restaurant and were treated very poorly. We are certain that we entered the accurate info for curbside, as we selected that specific option and had to enter our vehicle details. As we waited in the curbside pick-up parking spot an employee walked out, stared at us sitting there, walked back in and we saw no one come out again. After some time had passed, 10min past pick up, we walked in to check on status. We were given a very rude tone and told that we had to pick it up at the bar… so not only did they fail to bring our order to us in the designated curbside spot, but they also refused to even bring the order to us once walking into the restaurant after 10min past pick-up time, plus all else… highly disappointed and I know this location has been better…

Quite a disappointment for my first time at this iconic chain. The waitress was great & had recommendations, but the food did not match the upscale atmosphere. Most of the lettuce in my salad was browned. The fish fry- the most basic of seafood dishes- tasted as though it had been made an hour before then reheated in the oven. The “Cole slaw” side was not a side. It was not an amount for a side dish so I think it was supposed to be tartar sauce? But it was all mayonnaise and had neither capers nor the bite of tartar sauce… No matter how you slice it, it was just wrong. I hoped dessert would save the night and the cheesecake was delicious, but it was still frozen. It was not consumed until 3 hours later. Good try, could be a great dining experience, just a flop and not worth it to me. There are much better local places worth the drive.

This was the worst meal I've ever had at Red Lobster and we are frequent visitors. My granddaughter had the pound of crab legs. No problem there. I had the lobster lovers Duo and both lobster tails were vey disappointing. The Rock lobster was fishy and tough and the Main lobster was old, fishy and mushy with no sweetness or flavor. Neither tail had good flavor. I didn't eat them. The waitress took them off the bill and brought me some shrimp scampi and fried clams which she charged me for. I think the manager should have come out upon my returning 2 lobster tails to remedy the problem. The shrimp were also fishy smelling and mushy in a very salty sauce. The clams were not crisp the breading was soft. It was like nobody knew how to cook seafood there. Either that or the seafood was so old that it was unredeemable. I tend to think this was the case - old seafood that should not have been served. The mashed potatoes and the cheesecake were good. The Salad was OK the biscuits were good. The coconut shrimp was okay but not nearly as good as Bahama Breeze. We had good service from our waitress although she seemed annoyed that I couldn't find anything that tasted good and suggested that my tastebuds were off saying no one else had complained. Fishy smelling, tough, and mushy have nothing to do with tastebuds. And I still left her a good tip. I'd take it back now if I could. I've had many good meals at various Red Lobsters but today's was a waste of money! $100 out the window. I'll have to think long and hard before I visit the Red Lobster in...

This was the first time in years that we went to Red Lobster. We thought we would try them out for Happy Hour since we saw the sign out in front. We arrived at 5pm on a Friday and sat at the bar, which was not busy at all with a few customers seated there. We were greeted in a few minutes, and that was ok, but the bartender was very rushed and very brash! Our menus were thrown on the bar in front of us, and our water glasses were slammed down on the bar top. Kim E was the bartender, so I am assuming, since she never introduced herself and that was the name on the credit slip. Her way of communicating to not only us, but to all other people seated at the bar was to yell across at not only them, but any employee she was trying to communicate with. I feel that her personality would be better suited for a coffee shop or similar environment. I am a retired Area Director for a national full-service restaurant chain, and was blown away that Red Lobster, which is trying to win back customers and having financial difficulties, would have an employee act like this in front of customers. The food was over done in the fryer. The bacon wrapped scallops were the only thing that tasted great. There was another bartender that came on around 5:30 and he was very nice and very attentive. Happy Hour here is also weak! 2 dollars off an appetizer and 5 dollars selected (2) specialty drinks. Next door, Bahama Breeze and Smoky Bones have awesome Happy Hours so needless to say, we...

I've never had a bad experience at this Red Lobster, or any other one, come to think of it. They're a national chain, so expect this assessment to be relatively accurate for all of them. This one is just convenient for me because it's close to home. Obviously they're doing mostly seafood here, but they've got surf 'n turf, steak, other stuff. They've also got vegetarian items and healthy items, obviously a kids menu too. Food here is good, and the portions are pretty good too. I've never left the place hungry. You definitely get what you pay for as far as quantity and quality go. Be aware though, because the portions are pretty good, you're generally going to see high prices on the menu, but you will get what you pay for in most cases. Atmosphere is pretty nice. Depending on the day and time it can be a little louder or quieter, but it's not too much of either. If you go on the weekend, especially during dinner time, expect to be waiting. It's a busy area to start, and they get a good bit of business It's always clean, I've never had an issue with that. Bathrooms are very clean as well. Staff has always been nice to me, and I've been there quite a few times. I can't remember a time when the staff were even a little bit rude. Always very attentive.

All in all, it's a pretty good place to eat. Be aware, you'll probably spend a bit more here than other places, but you will get what you pay for in terms of quantity...
