I can’t say enough amazing things about my experience buying a rug from Area Rug Co. and working with Tina there. I have attempted to purchase so many different rugs online. Despite doing lots of research on the rugs, when they arrive I’m usually extremely disappointed by the fact the quality isn’t what it seemed, it’s thinner than expected, or it sheds. Finding the perfect rug for our living room has been an exhausting endeavor, until I went to the grand opening of the Rochester location of Area Rug Co. The showroom is beautiful and I immediately fell in love with multiple rugs. Tina helped guide me to the perfect rug that fit my wants and needs and most importantly was toddler proof! I’m originally from MI, but currently living down south. Tina arranged to have the rug delivered at a convenient time for me. The buying and shipping process was so easy and the rug arrived in perfect condition. It’s the first time a rug arrived and it’s better than expected. I recently used the design services of Christi Meyers at the Rochester Hills store to purchase 3 area rugs for my kitchen space. The selections offered were huge. What I particularly liked was the ability to take the rugs home to “ try them out” which helped me know that I was making the right choice. Their refund policy is great in that I had 2 days to make a decision with a total refund if things didn’t work out. Christi is a talented designer that can come out to your home for a service charge and that fee will be applied to any product you decide to buy. I looked for a rug for my family room at several other places, but Area Rug Co. had the biggest selection in store and excellent customer service. I worked with Christina. She spent close to an hour with me, and we saw many rugs in the colors I was looking for. I took pictures of my five favorites, looked at them in the family room, and chose my favorite one from there. I went back to buy it, and it was such an easy, smooth process.
