My experience was amazing at first. When Don D was there amazing he saved my life! However I was very much harassed inappropriately if you know what I mean, by a worker whom I turned in. Two other workers seen him do so to many woman. He got promoted and raised instead of investigating and catching him which they would have done so. I will keep up now daily checking this review because I will stand up for women everywhere this is so wrong. We have clients and workers who seem same behavior from him. Yet I'm one mistreated! I've had own apartment since April 1st 2025, and I'm clean and sober and well. I didn't report him til month I moved in here. Why? Because he retaliates and it's not cool it's torture really! So I explained that's why I waited to have lease, explained and how she the head lady could catch him. She made me falsely trust her.
They have so many people selling inside when we are trying to be clean and sober out of treatment it was almost impossible! When someone isn't ready that's their free will, deciding when to stop ..people need to be more respectful when they know that someone never used or is clean and sober and not using. Don't flaunt it go privately around no children or vulnerable adults or clean and sober people. Be more respectful and mindful people. Don't use in government funded shelters or we will lose them. Clean up yourselves and places around your using. Use manners and thank people volunteers who help us. And employees need to be mindful alot of homeless are vulnerable and not ok to hit on usor worse to touch...

The Landing, MN truly is a bane to the system, as low-functioning clients aren't getting the institutional help they need, and high-functioning clients are treated with the same inhumane restrictiveness and dismissiveness as the low-functioning ones.
To make matters worse, many other housing programs and organizations in Rochester automatically direct clients to The Landing. This unfortunately misleads the entire community into believing that the homeless situation is being systematically addressed, when it is, in fact, quietly and steadily worsening.
We need organizations that are efficiently managed with a triage approach, and independent, proactive auditing to ensure that clients are being properly treated and their unique needs and challenges remain an immediate priority.
Places like The Landing, who treat homeless people as stray animals, need to be replaced with facilities and staff that enthusiastically work to give their clients respect, dignity, and a higher standard of living that they can carry with them as they regain stability and productivity in...
