Ordered a bracelet right after Christmas, was never given a ticket but was told 4 times that it had been ordered for me. Two weeks later they call to tell me that my repair was back, I asked about the ordered bracelet and was told theyād research it and call me back. Never heard back. Picked up my repair, asked about my bracelet and it had never been ordered. Ordered it again, again I was not given a ticket. This past Friday I received a call that the bracelet had come in. I let them know that I would be by Tuesday (Today) to pick it up. Went in and i received a call that my ordered bracelet is here and Iām here to pick it up. Again, I get asked for a ticket. As Iām explaining to the one lady that I never got one another lady says YES itās with the layaways. So the original lady takes me to the back while she looks for it. Comes back out and asks me for the ticket again. Again, I tell her you guys never gave me one. No response, at this point Iām over it and do not want to spend another time there. So I have a ticket for another repair that I am waiting to get a quote one and told her that when I called to inquire about it yesterday I was told that they would call to inquire with the repair shop but never received a call back. She says⦠We do not rush them! Seriously??? Iām not asking you to rush them, Iām ask you to call and get an update. Fed up, I said thank you and started walking out but I just couldnāt leave and not say anything about the lack of competence in this place. I stopped and said, just so you all know I am once again leaving without the bracelet that I have now waited a month for because of the lack of competence in this place. Another employee said but itās here in with the layaways, well the lady that was helping me asked me for the ticket which I told her twice didnāt exist and didnāt care to help me, so no thank you; I donāt want it anymore. I will pick up my repair if they ever call with a quote or I will pick it up without it being repaired by next week but I will NEVER spend another dime here. Many times have needed a teacher or thank you gift and didn't want to mess around ordering online to find out it doesn't fit or have a stone fall out and no recourse (because that HAS happened).
Maybe I'm old fashioned but it's great to walk in and SEE wide selection, be waited on by a friendly, knowledgeable person and actually hold/inspect the item.
Lastly, I love Love's because I've sold her old jewelry for cash and have left a couple of pieces on consignment for the store to sell too. Allison said I would make more money selling an old engagement ring vs scraping it. Although it took longer to sell than I expected I was EXTREMELY happy with the money I ended up with... for both cash for gold and the consignment sale. I even asked where was the $200 worth of gold that they cutoff and they told me that is in the price of the repair. We will never return to this place. Even the people were horrible!!!! Did I mention that they kept my rope for a month? Such Liars! See below where they said they told me it would be cut in two places. They were just replacing the clasp. They also claim below this is the first time they heard about. When I tried the rope back on in the store I aske where is the rest of. The went and got the ignorant jeweler in the back and he told that is included in the repair that they also charge me $90 for. These people are crooks!!!! Stay away!!!!
