Do not bother eating here. The food was awful and the service was terrible. We arrived at 4:35pm on a Friday. It wasn't busy. They seemed to have quite a few servers standing around, perhaps anticipating a busy evening.
Our server, Tracy, took our beverage order and our food orders and it took awhile for the food to come out. I understand this is a casino and we were well aware the food would be overpriced. We don't mind paying for good food but this place doesn't have good food.
My husband ordered the $16.95 fish and chips and I got the $18.95 Impossible burger (it's the only thing on the menu for vegans. You'll have to say no cheese. It's also possible the bun isn't vegan). Our server did not bring us our food, a runner did. No complaints on that guy. He was nice and asked us if we needed anything else.
My husband got two small pieces of fish and fries. The fries were inedible. They were hard and barely warm. There was no reason for the fries to be old and almost cold. On the menu, they have photos of their burgers and they look like normal patties. The Impossible burger was smashed super thin. It was not good. Again, my fries were hard and barely warm.
Tracy didn't come by to ask about our food or offer refills on the drinks. When she finally came back she half assed asked how everything was and when I said 'not great', she ignored me and said 'would you like your check?' I said yes. Then she took off for parts unknown while we waited and waited. It was probably a good 10 minutes before we even saw her again and she was at the host station just standing there like she had nothing to do. My husband had to walk up there and tell her we wanted our check.
Then it took awhile to get the check and I told her I wanted to use a dining credit that we had from the flyers HRC sends out. She took my player's card and my husband's player's card. When she returned with the bill, I saw that we had only gotten a $5 credit, when I knew we had a $10 dining credit. She was long gone so I couldn't ask about it.
When I got home, I checked our HRC flyers and my flyer said I had a $5 credit and my husband had a $10 credit. She had BOTH of our cards, she ran a report on both cards (because she gave those to me) and elected to give us the lower dining credit.
Having worked in food service, we are good tippers but tonight was the first time in my life that I did not leave a tip.
I recommend eating before or after you gamble and do it anywhere but Hard Rock Cafe. Honestly, go across the street and get a hot dog at...

Read moreGluten free menu was great! Reagan our waiter was wonderful! A BIG problem with the kitchen. Took 2 times to get my order right. Try number 1: Even though I ordered off the gluten free menu, they brought me a regular burger with fries and a side salad. I also ordered salad dressing and never got it. ( I was supposed to get the salad instead of fries.)
Try number 2: After informing Reagan that I didn't get my gluten free meal, she went to talk to the kitchen right away. They brought me my burger on a gluten free bun. ( Bun was cold from the fridge and immediately fell apart as I ate. Everyone knows you toast gluten free bread before serving.) They still brought the fries and gave me a side salad with croutons. When I pointed out the croutons to the kitchen server, he said I should just pick them off. And yes I still had to ask for dressing again.
Reagan was sweet and very attentive refilling drinks. Loved her.
But it is a big no go for gluten free dinners. Not until they understand the meaning of gluten free!!!!
Maybe the company can help out and get them straight. Beautiful gluten free menu but they have no idea how to deliver...
