Today 12/13/24 my husband and I went to the Kohls store located on E. State St Rockford specifically looking for perfume for our daughter who has her birthday this December 26th. When choosing the perfume we decided to look for another gift that was still pending and when leaving Saphora with the perfume a lady with a radio in her ear looked at us quite strange, something that I noticed from the beginning, even so my husband and I continued walking and when she saw that we did not turn right in the aisle where she was headed she decided to go ahead of us and turned abruptly addressing us to pay for the perfume at Saphora to which my reaction was "seriously" "I didn't know" seeing that the lady said it in a very bad way I returned to Saphora to ask if the lady with the radio saying the correct thing. The Saphora employees told me that this was not true and that the only good thing about paying there was that I would save an additional 15% discount, however I was free to pay at the store's cash registers. After taking to the Sophora employees I went directly to a store manager and mentioned to him the situation of course I been shopping at Kohls and never had an issue but today I came across a RACIST LADY. Yes I am hispanic and is so sad that a person like this still exists in this country. I really hope not to see her again. Kohls I am very...
Read moreKohl's really pissed me off at the acquisition of my purse. Stop thinking because a woman carry a big purse she's trying to steal. I had 2 employees looking at me while I was shopping. And I did stop to question why they were watching me? The employee kinda chuckled and walked off. I asked for a price check on some shirts that had no tag! So the shorts were brought back to me with a tag and the price. While they had the shorts a staff put 2 security tags in the pocket. I knew those tags wasn't in there before. As I was standing in line one of the employees who was watching me went up to the cashier and spoke with her. She called me up to check me out. I said did you get the security tags that were put in the pocket. She replied yes! Needless to say no she didn't and the alarm went off. Customer service asked me to step to the counter. And from that moment it went down! I hate East State Kohl's....
Read moreIm surprised they are still open. I came here to use a gift card I got. The prices were horrible. I had a hell of time even finding anything I liked. I ended up getting a hand bag but had to return it cause I didn't notice it was a right hand bag and I am a left handed person. Their signs are unclear and point to the register to do returns. However there wasnt a designated station for returns. I stood there and waited and then aftwr awhile and no one helped me I asked where Im supposed to go. One person said I had to get to the back of the line. Which was for new customers and it was around the counter. But there was also not a clear indicator where that started or how to get there. The entire experience makes me glad I won't have to come back. With a store that's been in business rhat long you wouod think they would have better...
