⭐ The Taco Bell Time Warp – A Horror-Comedy Experience ⭐
If you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be completely invisible, I highly recommend visiting this Taco Bell.
I walked in, stomach growling like a rabid wolf, eyes locked on the menu, ready to order. The restaurant? Completely empty. Not a single other customer in sight. The employees? At least five of them, all standing around, fully engaged in the Olympic sport of Doing Absolutely Nothing.
I step up to the counter. I clear my throat. I shift my weight. I make direct eye contact with one employee, who looks through me like I’m a ghost haunting their establishment. Another one walks by, makes a vague hand gesture towards the soda machine, and disappears into the void. A third is having what looks like a deeply philosophical conversation with a burrito wrapper.
Minutes pass. Many minutes. Like, I could’ve learned a new language in this time. I could’ve written a heartfelt letter to my future self. But instead, I stood there, slowly questioning my own existence.
Finally, in a moment of pure desperation, I ordered through the app… WHILE STANDING INSIDE THE TACO BELL. That’s right, I had to digitally summon my presence into their reality. And guess what? They immediately started making my order. Not a word, not a nod, just silent taco preparation as if I had just now entered the building.
And now? I’m still waiting. The employees are once again lost in the abyss, my order is stuck in some mysterious limbo, and I am left to wonder if I will ever taste a taco again.
If I don’t make it out of here, tell my family I love them. And please, someone bring me a Baja Blast before I fade...
Read moreThe customer service here is an actual joke. I ordered through the mobile app on 9/30 for dinner, got my bag and drove all the way home to Machesney Park just to realize I got somebody else’s order entirely. A different name on the bag and all. Instead of driving all the way across town, I attempted to call and asked for a refund. I first spoke to the young guy who was at the window originally and gave me the wrong order. I explained what happened and he said ABSOLUTELY nothing, ignored me and handed me off to the next person. I then spoke to a lady (I’m assuming manager?) where I repeated myself. She was nice and explained their policy was to take my name so I can get a replacement meal another time. I accepted that with patience and got off the phone. I go THE NEXT DAY for my meal and this VERY PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE old man, was unnecessarily rude about the situation. He consistently made it seem like I was lying or that I was dumb. He also completely disregarded said “policy” and asked me a bunch of questions about my meal and the visit the night before just so I could get my food. When I get my bag, there’s no apology or anything he just slams the window in my face without giving me my drink. I had to wave him down just to get my drink, where he again was going to give me the wrong drink. I don’t know if it was to be a jerk or just genuinely doesn’t care about he is doing. As someone who worked as a manager in the food industry for 8 years, in what universe do you blame a customer for YOU messing up their food? Just sad. I will never be going to this...
Read moreI pulled in the drive thru to order. My girlfriend was driving (she is white) i am black. She ordered her food fresh and he (Mark D - name on receipt) told her sure it will be 4 minutes for fresh potatoes. I then ordered my chalupa and nacho fries. i asked for mine fresh as well and he (Mark) told me that he couldnt make mine fresh because it was as fresh as it was going to be. We then were parked and waited and my girlfriend food was hot and fresh while my chalupa was rock hard and the fries were old cold and soggy. this was at 1:20 am. We drove back around and he told us they were closed and wouldnt give me my money back. At this point I have never experienced such racism also they are always smoking weed outside when you pull in the parking lot they all run inside. I hope someone reaches out to me about this because i want...
