Just remembered why I quit ordering some of the best tasting wings in town. I ordered my food online. I was given a ready time for pick up of 11:10. I got there about 11:15. I stood in the foyer, ignored by multiple serving staff, or at least without any acknowledgement what so ever for over 5 minutes. An older couple came in and were standing behind after those five minutes. Finally, someone came over, asked if they needed a table, and then asked if I was waiting for a table. I mentioned I was just picking up a to-go order. She said she would check on the order, and then walked the customers to a booth on the other side of the restaurant before going into the kitchen. After another few minutes, a different person came out and gave me my order. They were quick to charge me an extra $1.50 for blue cheese with my order (didn't you get that for free?) and when I finally got back to work, there were no dipping sauces at all. No Blue Cheese, not even ranch. I didn't have time to go back, so I called the store. A lady there said a manager would call but they were in the middle of "shift change", and they would call me and "make it right". She confimed my name and phone number. That call was at 11:50. They have yet to call me back. I just threw away an order of cold wings because they couldn't provide a service they feel is worth charging extra for. The worst part is this is the whole reason I had quit going there for food before. How hard is it to complete an order? Nothing extra, no special instructions. I just clicked the boxes on YOUR sight and ordered the food. All you had to do was complete the order. Failing that, just give me a call and at least have the decency to apologize. I burned my whole break waiting to be acknowledged and get my food. The service was poor, the completion of the order was poor. It says a lot when the only thing that didn't get screwed up was chips and...
Read moreRestaurant was completely empty when our party of 4 adults 2 kids arrived. We were asked to wait 10-15 minutes because it was shift change so we waited up front versus at least being seated and allowed to browse the menu. After waiting about 15-20 minutes we were seated because our server was running late. We were told if we wanted to order to scan the QR code on the table to order that we had no waitress yet. The QR code however doesn’t allow you to specify on the wings the quantity per flavor so we ordered just drinks and let the young lady know we were unable to order the food because many options were missing and the app was $2-5 more per item and after the whole party had ordered it would be much more than ordering from the regular menu. She was annoyed but took our order and brought our drinks. After an hour we had a waitress come in (not the original intended one) who walked into the situation blind not knowing we’ve been waiting so long, still without food, or the issues we’ve had. Our food was ready shortly after but two of the orders was wrong and one was missing. She quickly rectified the issue. We explained all the issues we’d had since arrival and the time frame for everything and she apologize profusely and was very sweet. She gave us a couple $5 off $25 coupons and took the strawberry lemonades off our bill but never once was a manager ever in sight, never came to our table, anything. This entire time being the only customers in the restaurant. It was highly frustrating to say the least. I would expect much better from a weekday afternoon (2-4pm). While not acceptable but I would have understood more if it was a Saturday night at 9pm but...
Read moreI hate to write this review, because I know there are people there doing the best they can, and I think that the problems that exist come from the corporate level. At the same time, if I get ripped off, I'm compelled to write a review.
Sunday, I ordered a carry-out order of wings, fries, and mac and cheese for me and my sons. After placing the order on the app, my email confirmation stated the order would be ready at 1:30. We arrived at that time to pick it up.
When we got there, there were about 6 people standing at the host station waiting for their orders, and there was no host there to help them. One woman said she'd been there since 1:00. It took about fifteen minutes for an employee to finally check on our order. After another ten minutes, we were told that our wings hadn't even been started.
In the end, our food wouldn't be ready until 2:30, an hour after we were told it would be ready. We only live about ten minutes away, so we went straight home and opened the order. The fries were cold and tasted stale. The mac and cheese was so cold it had hardened, and the wings were only a little warm, but were the only thing edible. Oh, and they shorted as an order of mac and cheese.
Generally, I understand if a restaurant is behind, and usually, when there is an issue with my order, the servers are very apologetic and comp the unsatisfactory items. There was no such thing here. The host was hardly apologetic, and when she saw we were upset, she said "I can get the manager if you want." But given that the manager had been so scarce and hard to find before, we weren't about to waste any more of our time.
I would never order carry out...
