Lids — Local services in Rockford Township

We have been buying caps from Lids for years. Our experience yesterday is the reason why we will not anymore. We were at the Cherryvale Mall location and the blondish sales person behind the counter was incredibly rude and acted as if we were interrupting his computer game playing to be helped. That is not the way to treat a customer. Then when the cap rang up they wanted to charge $3 more than the price marked on the cap. At first I thought maybe I read the price tag wrong. But, no I did not. Now I have been charged for the cap, they supposedly gave me a refund, but when I look on my bank statement today, there is no refund. So apparently I have been paid for a cap that I don't even have. If this is the policy of Lids, that is very poor business practice and people should be VERY LEARY about buying from this company. Also, I expect my refund and something to be done about that very rude...

Poor quality. Do not get anything embroidered here they overcharge for your design compared to other lids and the design will be barely stitched into the hat. Compared to other lids their hats are also more expensive. Employee argued with me when I said I don’t want the hat. He started saying “it’s what I wanted”I did not want a poorly stitched hat with the thread barely stitched or partially designed. I’ve never been to a lids that charges an extra $7 for a heart on top of paying for...

This place is a joke, they will steal your money, went in today for a personal design hat and it was a complete disapointment, paid for it in adavance and the design looked soo different when I told them i wasnt getting it done since it looks so different they refuse to give my money back, I will make sure I tell people about how bad this place is and how they will steal...
