Glik's — Local services in Rockford

Great clothing, very high quality and not bad prices, however, the customer service is absolutely horrible. I do not live in Rockford but visit there often. The town is great, with the exception of Gliks. Every other store I go into, greets their customers and asks if they need help - the basic welcoming environment. I've been in Gliks multiple times and never has anyone ever talked to me and it would have been nice to get help from a staff member. Yes, I did seek it out without success. Very rude staff. I will get looks from them as I'm walking around the store but they quickly look away. What the heck! I gave it another chance just this weekend 10/15/22 - same thing - not one person even attempted to help. I went down the street to a number of stores and was greeted in each store I walked into. What is it about Gliks that the staff appear very stuck up. Please train them to at least act like they care. I'll not be going there again. I’ve probably spend over $5k at this location over the years and never returned one thing. I bought a $60 sweatshirt that started following apart after one wash, turned out to be extremely cheaply made, so I decided I’d explain to the owner what happen and see if I could exchange for something else; she said no exchanges without receipt, I asked if she could find my purchase from the rewards program they use and she said that it didn’t count and that I needed the receipt. I usually have no complaints here. Last visit staff was unhelpful and rude. I will say we got to the store at 6:45p and the store closes at 7p.The two sales associates said nothing when we walked in. They just looked at each other annoyed. At 6:50 one of them said just so you know we close in 10 minutes. (I went in for 1 certain item)I was able to check out and when I got to my car it was 655.
