Arctic Tern Books — Local services in Rockland

I love this store, staff and owner.

I read a lot and tend to stick to the classics, the basis being that if its still in print after 100+years its probably good.

It works... but the books (maybe a dozen so far) I have purchased from Arctic Tern have taken my enjoyment of reading to the next level and introduced me to new authors I would have never entertained when browsing a book store alone.

Also there are always a great selection of unique items that are perfect 'gift all' items for friends and family I have trouble...

I visited this wonderful boutique bookstore on a rainy Friday, March 29, 2024. Arctic Tern Books is a must visit if you are in Rockland, Maine (or might I suggest on a literary tour through Maine).
