I was in last week and also yesterday to pick up a new Ipad. I spoke to Nate, the owner & manager and he was terrific. Having done some homework before with some folk who are computer/tablet savvy, I was clear about what I was looking for, and he was very helpful, offering occasional suggestions. As an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, who has done research in the work place, I noticed that the customer service folk were very busy, and clearly having a good time. Nate is a relatively new owner, and he gets it. Ended up talking with other folk who were there to get things done--phones, tablets, computers, and everyone had smiles on their faces. Nate understands customer service, and he seems also to understand the importance of keeping the employees engaged and happy. It was a great experience. Walking through the process Verizon employees tell you have to go do this online or that online. Sheās 80 without a smart phone. At one point it was suggested to switch āher to us cellular.ā And looking at a preowned phone was ābut that is used.ā š³ āAnd you have to go do that online.ā So I offered to do it right their on the computer.
