I am not a member of this church's congregation. I won free tickets from 103.9 The Fish radio to attend a Ladie's night event that was hosted at this church. The event was highlighting comedian Nazareth, and the most excellent musician Blessing Offor. When I arrived at the sanctuary, I was surprised to see how big this facility was. It had a massive church with other buildings associated with it, such as a Destiny church workout center and more. The parking lot seemed to be too small for the size of this church, however, I did not drive around much to search for a larger lot. We were running a bit late and parked over by what looked like storage units or something.
At the event, they had many vendors in the front lobby, the first being Two Men and a Truck who was gathering supplies for needy mothers (which I think is a wonderful cause). There were also vendors for William Jessup University, a mother's pregnancy clinic, hand crafted jewelry, and the tables for the two artists being highlighted at the event.
The auditorium was a decent size with plenty of seating for all the ladies. The event was heart warming and soulful, and I left with my cup filled with spirit.
I cannot speak for their preachers or regular worship services as I did not attend any of these services. Overall, the facility was luxurious, clean, and overwhelmingly large. My church is also a large one with all the new age bells and whistles, so I am not opposed to this. The larger the congregation is, the easier it is to feel lost amongst the ground. Fortunately, the artist performing made the event feel intimate and reminded me of my own personal...
Read moreI am a totally disabled Vietnam Veteran.
Today, I was accompanied by my service dog Arthur. I left Costco and decided to try this ministry.
I arrived just prior to the 11:00 AM service. There were no handicapped parking spaces available (which is problematic). However, a nice gentlemen told me to park in the rear.
I walked into the back entrance and I was immediately approached by two individuals who ask me for my dog’s papers. They had no clue what the ADA laws require. A third nice gentlemen approached and inquired about my service dog, but the discussion was useless. I lost any semblance of the reason I came.
I was injured in Vietnam and I also suffer from PTSD. Arthur had one year of training and has certifications from the VA, Riverside County and the State of California. He gets his medical care through the Veterans Administration. He is a highly skilled canine who enables me to travel youtside my home.
The three individuals failed to ask the only questions under the law: is it a service dog and what service does he perform? Period. I understand that all too often individuals represent their dog as a service dog. It just makes it all the more difficult for veterans like me.
So, I took the risk by going into a new environment with the hope of hearing God’s word - and to feel safe with my service canine. I left really feeling sad and empty.
May God grant me the wisdom to forgive those who do not know better and to grant me the courage to once again leave my home with Arthur.

Read moreI have been attending this church since I was little. I used to like it a lot but now that I am older I seen who the church really is. Destiny is more like a cult than anything and the pastor degrades and puts down the president and the LGBTQ+ community for church fame and to make the audience laugh. Personally, Destiny has made me move away from Christianity into becoming an atheist because I thought that if every Christian is like a Christian of Destiny, then I don’t want to be part of that. The church also has a lot of rumors and allegations on them. I used to be close with Rachel on the worship team and other staff who were apart of the teen ministry. I trusted them and told them a lot just for them to go around telling other church members which hurt a lot and showed their true colors. Overall, the people of Destiny are some of the most fake people I know. Everyone there has a certain attitude that is extremely cult like and uncomfortable. The pastors are actually rude people and all compare to one another. The workers act as if their too rich and too good to be associating with “unknown” people who attend Destiny. I’ve seen a lot with my own eyes and overall destiny has changed my path with Christ and my overall view on religion and on Christians. I am working on re kindling my faith with God and becoming a firm believer in Christ within a new church I have been attending. I would rate this church 0 stars if I could and don’t recommend it to anyone who...
