It’s in a very odd place in Rocklin and obscure strip mall very unassuming from the front of the building …once you walk inside you were taken back to a speakeasy type vibe. Low lighting, red velvet chairs, and sofas very nicely done. we were greeted very promptly and seated. The waiter was super nice. We met the owner. Very lovely lady. The wine list and bubbles menu definitely needs to be improved upon what they have is nice but not top-notch. As far as the food goes, we started with the charcuterie board which needed some help a little too much cheese not enough meat, low quality crackers. It wasn’t the best. I would not recommend it. We also had deviled eggs, which were amazing. Probably the best deviled eggs I’ve eaten in Sacramento and surrounding areas . We also had the chicken pasta dish, which was very tasty very well done I had their pork chop, which was a little overcooked little to dry the mashed potatoes and the vegetables were delicious. We ended with the desserts, chocolate cake and a strawberry cake not my favorite. Could’ve been better. They’re going to a memberships only format. I hope it works for him. They’re taking a chance so unfortunately, I don’t see us joining at this time. I hope that it works out well for them.

Great atmosphere and really good service. Cozy, relaxed and nice music on a Saturday night. Service was really good and the food was even better. I had the ribeye with potatoes and veggies and it was amazing. We also got the shrimp and crab cocktail. It was also really good. Last and definitely the hit of the evening, the charcuterie board was beyond the best we've had and only $36. There was enough food on the charcuterie that we really didn't need anything else. The management and owners were personable and friendly too. Looking forward to coming back with friends next time.

The blue parrot lounge is a must-have experience. It is like a little oasis in the middle of the desert. It is at once mellow and eclectic, and reminiscent of times past. The food and drinks have been hand-picked by the proprietor who’s palate and attention to detail is unsurpassed. Don’t be fooled by the mundane-looking facade of this speakeasy, for once inside you will be transported to an unforgettable place and time.

Enjoyed our first visit to the BPL. Busy as it was Valentine’s Day so we had a reservation for bar seating. Plus: easy parking attentive service, friendly staff all around, good food & drinks, pairing selections on menu (Cab & Steak, Chardonnay & Salmon), recommendations by waiter, ambiance, clear attention to detail and the desire to deliver something special. Delta: while cozy, this place is a little tight for my own elbow room requirements (excuse me, pardon me), no full bar, a bit surprised at their ala carte approach and my $46 ribeye didn’t come with anything but a plate; this isn’t Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris. Love the effort and the attention to detail shows, but you shouldn’t expect to pay these prices in an offbeat strip mall if your steak can’t be served with an old fashioned. Although the BPL may be a bit bougie for their own britches, I’ll be back with renewed expectations now that I know...

So I thought I had to travel to New York, Chicago or Hollywood to find a place like this! I was invited to check out this place called "The Blue Parrot Lounge". When I walked in, I was so impressed by the ambient and felt like I went back in time, to the Frank Sinatra era. JUST WOW!

This Lounge is one of those places you must visit, it needs to be on your bucket list! LOL

Its so pretty and the excellent music makes your troubles fade away. It's almost like a great massage! LOL.

The food is pricey but I guarantee you will not leave one bite, yes that's how great the food is, you...
