Marisa R first canceled my hair appointment just 30 minutes before it was supposed to startâafter I had already arranged childcare. When I came back for the rescheduled appointment, she complained about wanting to go home and about how thick my hair was. Then she told me she wouldnât have time to do the service I originally booked (a full highlight). Instead, she did a quick 5-minute test strip and claimed my hair wouldnât take the highlights anyway.
She canceled my appointment on the spot. The manager did nothing to help, didnât try to assess the situation, and even agreed with her, despite the fact that my hair hasnât been colored in almost two years. I take very good care of my hair, so to be told it was too âunhealthyâ to highlight was completely false. It felt like they just didnât want to deal with my thick, long hair.
Both Marisa and the manager (whose name I didnât getâshe had half brown and half blonde hair) were extremely unprofessional and sent me home with zero apology.
Thankfully, I booked at the Folsom Ulta two days later, where the stylist had no problem doing a full highlight plus a second base color. My hair came out absolutely stunning, with not a single broken strand. The amazing Services District Educator Scott S, was on shift at the Folsom Ulta the day of my appointment and is a witness to the health and...
Read moreI honestly dont know what to say... I was helped by an older lady with blonde hair "for whom I forgot their name". It was honestly great service at first, hooked me up with some good samples and killer products, thought she was real sweet. She goes to make me an appointment for a skin consultation and I specify that I get off work at 5pm, so it would have to be later. She keeps saying that anytime is fine so I pitch for 6pm on Thursday, I watch her write in her book those exact dates and I'm off my merry way. Come Thursday at 6pm I arrive and am told by one of her coworkers that she was leaving for the day, getting awfully rude and weird looks from the people at the counter. Keep in mind I didnt have any makeup on, assuming that I would be consulted for my skin, already self concious by my acne. I approach the older lady that I made the appointment with up at the counter, then she proceeds to act like I didnt exsist, and when I start talking, proceeds to act like she doesnt remeber me. While I try to explain she continues to give me rude looks saying "oh honey you mustve meant a different day" and "I'm leaving so were going to have to reschedule". She puts me down on her books again, but if you think I'm going to return after what happened, you are surely mistaken. Completely embarassing and a waste of time. Will not...
Read moreMy husband visited this location on Oct 18 to buy me some birthday gifts. They asked an employee where they could find a certain item. She just pointed them in a general direction, and said âback thereâ He went to ask her for some help, but she ignored him, and went to help someone else. They hung around the same area for 20 minutes trying to get someoneâs attention, but were ignored. They had just come from hiking all day, so they may have been a bit dirty, but your employees really need to stop judging people by how they look. He spent over $100, and probably would have spent more if someone had helped him when he asked. He used my rewards barcode, and if someone had looked at that earlier, you would have seen Iâve been diamond for years, and he wasnât just there trying to cause trouble or whatever else is was you thought him and my 8 year old son were...
