MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes — Restaurant in Rocklin

I will not be returning to this place or recommend it to anyone. There were about 8 workers, who were hanging out behind the register; laughing and joking around, not adhering to a job that they should have been doing. My brother and I ordered our food. I went over to get my drink from the soda machine and it was full of old, dry soda and new soda wet, throughout the area. I wiped down the area myself. My brother ordered a large milkshake that cost $6.99 and was given the smallest cup and when he asked if it was a mistake, they laughed and said, "no that's the large" ... Money gouging restaurant!! ...then when we tried to sit at a table, we walked though the whole restaurant and there was not one table that was clean. We asked 2x for the tables to be clean and were ignored. Again! There were 8 workers behind the register. Finally, one worker came out to clean the tables and confronted us asking if we were the ones asking for the tables to be cleaned. I said, "yes, but we wiped an area and have already started eating.". He tried to explain, "we try our best" and went on to justify that it's the type of tables they are that make them look dirty. I told him, "I don't agree. There is food left on every table of the restaurant. But it doesn't matter now, we tried to wait and we are already eating.". After all of this, there were some other patrons that ordered after us, who were waiting for about 20 minutes for their order. I finally said, "you have been waiting such a long time and there are no other customers in here. Unbelievable!". He responded, "I know! ..and all we ordered were three fries and two milkshakes" ...he then walked up to the register and asked for the manager. He wanted to file a complaint as he has "been waiting so long, watching all of the workers have a party, and this one is eating the fries that should be in my order!" The worker tried to deny that he ate the fries and was just waiting for them to finish cooking. He was told to go wash his hands and make a new batch of fries. The patron asked for the manager's name and wanted to speak to them. He was on break for 30 minutes. He then looked over to me and said, he is going to wait for the manager and he will write a review for both of us, explaining everything that happened while we were both in the restaurant. I personally was wondering why there wasn't anyone patronizing this restaurant. The prices are horrible and the customer service and cleanliness intolerable.. Don't waste your money and time! We visited this restaurant last evening (5/4/19) and was less than impressed by it. My wife and I ordered a cheeseburger to share, an order of fries and 2 milk shakes. The burger and fries were promptly served but not the shakes. We were preparing to eat the burger when a small bug crawled out from under the burger. I took the tray, with the food on it, back up to the cashier and pointed out the bug and handed her the tray. She took the tray , brushed off the bug and handed the tray back to me. I pointed out that I had not ordered the bug and would like a new order. She seemed surprised at my request so I set the tray down in front of another person behind the counter, repeated my request and walked back to our table. The girl working out front apparently had seen what had transpired and came over to our table and asked about what was happening. When we explained the situation, she asked if we would like her to pass this on to the manager. We thought that was a good idea. She left and we could see her talking to the manager. At that point one would think that the manager would have come to our table to discuss the situation. He did not. Our new (hopefully) order then arrived. still without the shakes. The shakes were never delivered until my son-in-law went to the counter to get them. The service, the attitude of the staff, the bug on the tray with the food and the fact that the manager was a no show will probably keep me away from the place for a long time. My friend and I decided to come here for lunch today. We paid $43 for 1 combo meal (burger, fries, soda), a veggie burger, and a shake. Both of our orders were messed up, and the food itself was not even good. The only decent thing was the shake.

To start, the wait was about 20-25 minutes for our food. I don't think that's horrible, but certainly not fast. My friend ordered her burger with a lettuce wrap and got a normal burger. When she big into her burger, a chunk of avocado peel was on her burger. I ordered a veggie burger and received a burger with both a meat & veggie patty. I ended up scraping the crumbling meat patty off. When we brought these mistakes to the attention of the workers, rather than them offering to make it right, the guy asked "So is that going to be alright then?" When we asked about the items being made the way they were ordered, we were told we would have to wait for everyone's food who who was now in front of ours. We were both starving so we decided to just deal, but disappointing service to say the least. Having worked in customer service I would have expected them to remake the burgers ASAP without us having to ask. Both of our burgers ended up being very greasy, undersalted, and bland. The fries were cold, soggy, and had no salt either. We ended up throwing 3/4 of the food away and now looking for lunch elsewhere.
