I never thought I would be put in a position in my life to have to negotiate for Cookies, but I warn you that you will if you go to Crumbl Rocklin. I will start by saying I rarely go to Crumbl. So it was sad to have this be the experience. I went yesterday with my two year old and purchased a variety six pack of the flavors of the week of the large cookies, a 3 pack variety of the mini cookies and one extra chocolate chip cookie. We have family coming to town and this was a surprise to have at home for everyone. At the time I paid the employee (later learned to be a shift lead) did not notify me that several of the cookies this week required refrigeration. We don’t eat many sweets so most of the cookies were still remaining the next day and had sat out on the counter overnight. Needless to say they didn’t fair well. They were soggy, a bit sour tasting and seemed unsafe to eat. I called Crumbl and spoke to an employee for assistance. She deferred to the previously mentioned shift lead for guidance who told me she could neither refund nor replace the cookies as they are cookies and that’s what happens (it didn’t make sense on the phone either). This is apparently where cookie negotiations began. I said they were fully intact and uneaten in the box still so it was unfortunate to hear they couldn’t be replaced, as I was not really looking for a refund. She said if I could bring the cookies in to show they were uneaten then they could be replaced. I picked up my kids and took them to Crumbl along with the cookies. It happened to be a hot day (90 degrees), which made for a less than enjoyable outing at 3 in the afternoon with a 2 year old and 5 year old. I arrived to be told the earlier shift lead left a note saying I could get two cookies. Despite bringing the entire box of cookies to the store. I asked if at least the 3 cookies which required refrigeration could be replaced and was told no. The employee offered to call the off duty manager, Madee. I said thank you that would be helpful. I spoke with Madee who wasn’t aware of what occurred. I informed her of the situation, and she asked what cookies I would like replaced. I responded that whatever they could offer would be wonderful. I told her there were 3 that were supposed to be refrigerated and one that had turned sour and yellow. She said she could only refund the refrigerated cookies. Our call ended after this. By this point my kids were running amuck in the store and I selected three cookies quickly and left. It was a pretty terrible Crumbl experience. That was a lot of effort and work for a cookie purchase/replacement, and I can’t say I will be going back to make another purchase anytime soon. All of which could’ve been avoided with a little forewarning to refrigerate...
Read moreThe busier they get the less pleased I am with going here. They’re cookies taste fantastic! But the service does NOT taste so sweet! The most recent trip there left a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t plan on being back any time soon! Ordered curbside 2 hours before pick up because I knew I would be in a rush, when I got there, I waited 10 minutes in my car, watched them box my cookies, and then proceed to box other cookies while another staff member walked around doing nothing. Mind you, they were busy, so ok, I can kind of understand 5-10 min wait. But after several people got their boxes of cookies (whose were boxed after mine), left the store, I decided to just walk in. They didn’t take note of me or acknowledge me. Finally at that point they realized the box of ready to go cookies and started to bring it out, I hollered at them asking if it was the curbside for”my name” and she said yes and handed the box to me. I got to my car, checked my order, and realized they gave me one incorrect cookie… ok, they are busy, I can understand a mix up. I’m trying to be patient. Walk back in with my box, wasn’t acknowledged, again. Finally spoke up and told them… the girl took my box, took the wrong cookie out, and put that wrong cookie back to be sold!!! (Ugh gross!!) you just don’t do that. You apologize for the inconvenience and you box up the single cookie and let the person be on their way. You don’t sell that same cookie to someone else after it’s left the store, and been breathed on (and who knows what else). And you should also pay attention to the people who are obviously getting frustrated at your lack of time efficiency and mistakes. Curbside is ordered ahead, for a reason. Not to be pushed to the last of the line.. don’t offer something if you’re not willing to make it priority. And train your kid employees how to handle food properly and be better at...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Crumbl Cookies in Rocklin, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by Judit, the owner. She was incredibly helpful and helped me make some fantastic choices.
But the real star of the show was the cookies themselves - they were simply delicious! I tried several flavors, but my absolute favorite was the watermelon cookies. They just melted in my mouth and were so fresh and flavorful.
I appreciate that Crumbl Cookies is a local business, and I think it's important to support small businesses in our community. Judit clearly puts a lot of care and attention into her shop, and it shows in the quality of the cookies and the service.
Overall, I would highly recommend Crumbl Cookies in Rocklin to anyone looking for delicious, high-quality cookies and exceptional service. I look forward to coming back and trying all the other flavors they have to offer. Please do yourself a favor and check out this amazing...
