Ew!
Took my family to eat lunch at this location and it was nasty. It was slow, maybe 3 people in the restaurant but every table, chair and floor was covered in food and garbage. Except one! This one was covered with what appeared to be beard trimmings about 3 inches long.
If your thinking I'm holding this Panera to too high of a standard, I wasn't. Any other human with at least one working eye would have been disappointed. I've seen tables like this once before, at a Chucky Cheese as it was going out of business.
I asked a staff member if they could please clean one of the tables, they got a soaking wet towel from the used cleaning bucket sitting atop the trash can and with about as much enthusiasm and precision as a hungover college student doing laundry, splashed a healthy amount of dirty water on it. Then said "it will dry" and walked away.
I did for a moment consider standing next to the wet table with my whole family for 15 minutes holding our food waiting for this mop water to air dry like broken video game characters, but then I decided to keep living my life and we sat outside.
The food fight that must have occurred only moments before we arrived must not have spilled onto the patio area because it was passable as a dinning establishment.
Then, the food came. My wife was served a cinnamon bagel with chive cream cheese? At this point I think we were both concerned the staff had been freaky Friday switched with a kindergarten class and somewhere there were was a large group of 4 year old yelling out bagel orders instead of taking their naps.
My sandwich had sauce fingerprints on the top of the bread, I assume this child had been finger painting before the switch occured and couldn't help but to continue and my salad appeared to have been made some time last week.
If the front of house looks like the aftermath of a middle school sleep over, the back in of house where all the food is made must be nastier than a truck stop bathroom.
I left feeling like I needed...
Read moreThis is the worst Panera location anywhere.. Their order on-line and Rapid Pick Up is broken and their customer service is nonexistent. I have used their order on line three times and each time was a failure, the last being the worst. Try #1 i order a selection of backers dozen bagels for a work meeting specifying bagels to be sliced .. I picked up the order, when we started to enjoy them at work i found the selection i ordered was not even close and also the bagels were not sliced. Try#2 Again another order for a work meeting. This time when i picked up after ordering 24 hrs ahead of time, the bagels were not ready, i i had to wait 10 mins.. After getting to work, the bagel selection was correct, they were sliced but the store left out on ordered container of cream cheese. Try#3 I placed an order 24 hours advance for several bakery items for family get together over Christmas. I had a schedule pickup at 4P.M. but called them to ask if order was ready to pick up early at 3P.M. They said no problem. When i arrived at the store to pick up my order,, Assistant manger handed me my order saying that 3 different bagel selections i ordered was not available and the bread i ordered was not available, over half the order was not available. Assistant manager litterley tried to hand me the order so he can go on with his business.. I said, 'wait' I ordered this stuff 24 hours ago, what do you mean you don't have these items. He said, 'sorry' we've been busty today and we sold out of everything.. WFT?? he didn't get it.. I asked for my money back.. he gave me a snarl look and hastily have me my refund. No offer to replace the order with something else or even to pick up the next morning.. And what is worst,, they didn't even tell me this when i called them asking to pic up my order early. I will never set foot in that store again.. The small mom and pop bakery, JD's will be getting my business for future...
Read moreI normally love eating at Panera but this was by far my worst experience ever. The cashier told my sister that they were out of French Onion soup so she ordered Tomato and then the rest of us ordered, thinking we were okay since the cashier didn't say they were out of anything else. When we went to pick up our orders, we find out that they are all out of baguettes and instead of telling us this, they put chips on all of our plates. They also ran out of the baked potato soup I asked for and gave me chili without asking me first. They also had French Onion soup. The kitchen and the cashiers failed to talk to each other and I watched 4 other disgruntled customers have their orders completely changed because of items that ran out. The food also looked like it was thrown together. Even though it was only 7pm and they don't close until 10pm, they started cleaning up with a full restaurant which made it difficult to get refills or condiments. The cashier failed to swipe my dad's Panera card and instead directed him to the website at the bottom of the receipt but my dad is 80 and hates computers, which is why he normally has the cashier swipe his card. Finally the trash and the dish bin were overflowing and we could barely fit our dishes in the bin. We should have left them on the table for the crew to clean up since it doesn't seem like they are competent enough to do the rest of their jobs. I will not...
