Awful service. My 13 yr old daughter loves the dresses and wanted to try some on. She is 5'7 and a sz 12. The women told her she wouldn't fit in anything because the dresses were made in Hong Kong & didn't fit like American dresses. My daughter insisted partly bc she was embarrassed and angry - at which point the clerk & owner kept coming over to make sure no seams were torn. I told the owner how innappropriate for anyone this was but especially a young girl. My daughter did in fact fit into 2 of the 3 large sz dresses . I told them to leave us alone and we would be leaving asap. My daugher has an athletic build and is not a plus size. I heard them similarly addressing another woman who was a sz 10. I am shocked that this happened and how the owner could not understand why I would be upset. NOT ok. Again -I get that she was concerned for her clothing but this was over the top. Blue Lantern is a darling quirky little boutique clothing and accessory store. Owned by a very pleasant Asian lady, who I could speak Cantonese with - She was from Hong Kong! Not often do I come across Cantonese speakers. The store is clearly beloved and pampered, much like the rest of the town.

The clothes are rather reasonably priced for a boutique, and are stylish and trendy. She had lovely outfits all nicely displayed. I bought 4 of the displayed items that's how tempting the display was. The purses are cheap and really crazy like, patchwork, chains, pockets - you're sure to find something you like. The jewelry is gaudy, but if you're into rhinestones and lady bug earrings, you might just find what you need here.

This place was absolutely amazing! I had just bought a skirt from here yesterday, and it was beautiful. The size was perfect, and the skirt designs were very beautiful and unique. The cashier was also very helpful and kind! I totally recommend this place and I’ll definitely be visiting this store again...
