Turns out I could extend my passport for three years or 18 months with a low fee. I really appreciated and the gratitude. I went directly to the officer, he gave me the form and the list of the documents I have to submit. I submitted in the morning around 9 AM and by 2.30 PM the same day I could already collected my visa. They also handed me some maps, brochures, and booklet about Guatemala. All the employees were extremely nice and helpful.
