My wife and I planned on only trying out mattress today and not in any manner planning on purchasing one. Like most consumers say “we are not buying today”, but of course we were done dealing with our old mattress and wanted a new one asap. Iv done all the research as most men would and brought the choices down to the Beautyrest Black One Extra Firm or the Sterns and Foster Ultra Firm. As we entered the Mattress Warehouse Rockville location we were greeted with a friendly smile by Ms Nancy Haddad, the store manager. I kindly explained to Nancy that I have front loaded all the information and technical features of the two mattresses and at this point just wanted to try them out with no plan on making a purchase today. She was impressed of all the knowledge I had and stated, “. You clearly did your homework.” She was kind enough to provide us with financing and delivery options as well as the 100 day try out or trade in option. She than provided us some space and time to try everything out and checked in time to time to see if we had any questions. Nancy was very knowledgeable of the features of both mattresses and answered all the questions I had. Typically I do not take the time to write reviews for stores however in this particular circumstance I felt it was important for me to give recognition for a very pleasant customer experience. I had to come in fairly last minute as my current medical condition required me to seek out some more immediate solutions to nurse me through this tough bind my back has been experiences. I went across the pike to my nearest Mattress Warehouse location (12129 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852 - the one near TGI Fridays) Mind you I have been in sales for many years and have had recognize authenticity in finding taking care of your client.  Jeff took the time to ask me all the questions he needed to ascertain the right choice for me.  He showed me some options and I immediately fell in love with one of his recommended beds.  I'm a side sleeper, back sleeper, I sleep restlessly and in general I really did need some good professional advice to help me make my decision. I ordered it yesterday at 4pm and he managed to get it delivered to my home the next morning at 7am. This place negotiated a good deal. I’m knocking a star off, because they’re pushy. Everyone we interacted with minus the newest sales girl (who was sweet, but seemed a bit confused) was the dictionary definition of a sales person. This might not have bothered us if we hadn’t just been to a place where the sales person was calm, patient and not at all pushy. This is our preference. If we had entered this establishment with the same level of patience, we would have 100% purchased right then, but I’ll be honest that we were ready to walk even with the better deal due to how pressured we felt. In fact, we probably said four times that we needed to think on it, which was the truth and kept being asked why we needed to think or what would make us buy it right then, before being directed to a regional sales manager who offered us a deal he said he could only solidify then and there as he was just passing through. I’m not sure the legitimacy of this, but I will say it was a good deal for a new mattress. So if you’re looking for a place that will negotiate and work with you on price, this place had much more wiggle room than the competitor unless you went used, but I cannot say it was a pleasant experience.
