LONG POST!! Okay, I’ll start off by saying- the staff at this location is very nice. Store is clean and clutter free on the sales floor and the racks are not overfilled so it’s easy to look through the items.
If you’re looking to buy gently used to somewhat “like new” items this is a great place. They have really good pricing for big purchase items like strollers/ bouncers/ pack n’ plays etc.
The reasoning for my 2 stars is their process/ standards of purchasing items. If you’re looking to SELL items… this is NOT the place. They have a disclaimer that they make you sign that states once you agree to sell your items to them you can’t decline the offer and/ or take your items back. They don’t give you an offer upfront as their intake process is two steps. They LOWBALL you SO BAD!! I brought in probably close to $200-$250 worth of basically BRAND NEW clothes- my daughter is only 2 months so most of the items were only worn once or not even worn at all before they were outgrown- like literally you can walk into any Target/ Walmart/ Ross right now and buy the items I brought in- I opted to not wait in- store while they processed my drop-off items; got a call within 24hrs and the offer I received was a whopping $31 Cash or $37 Store Credit. LIKE WHAT?!?! I get it that they sell items extremely discounted but they took over 95% of the items I brought in and came back with an offer under 30% of the total value of the items. Two of the items they brought from me I know for a facts are currently retail valued at $20-$25. If they didn’t make me sign that disclaimer upfront before I left my items there I would’ve 100% turned down that offer and sold the items myself on another outlet like Poshmark (which I will be doing in the future). Another thing they did that kinda upset me was, some of the items I brought in to sell were complete outfits- like matching top and bottoms with bow, socks etc.- they picked apart the outfits and only took certain elements vs. taking the whole outfit. So now I have a few random tops and bottoms left. Whomp whomp. I can still sell the items I have left just probably won’t get the value I want back bc they’re not the compete set.
But I digress. Moral is- if you’re looking to buy some cute clothes for cheap Kid to Kid is your place. If you’re looking to sell your items don’t bother. Sell them yourself at a yard sale or other resale outlet like...

This is a crooked company. 21 items for 28 dollars. They took nikes, mud pie, Matilda Jane etc but wouldn’t show me what items they actually took when I said I needed to look before I signed. They said they already put them on the floor and didn’t know what they took so now they have basically stolen over $200 in clothes, wouldn’t show me what they took, sold my stuff before I signed and only gave me $28. All that on top of only take 21 items from 2 bins when I only buy expensive name brand. Asked to speak to the manager and was told that’s who I was dealing with. Made a lot of sense seeing how horrible of a company it is
Response: Kid to Kid as much as you want to make your company look good on the internet, you and I both know that’s not what happened. I talked to another mom yesterday who had the same thing happen to her so obviously your company continues to screw people over. When your associate called me she said it was only $28 I asked her to hold the items including the ones in the bin. When I got there and asked to see my items she said they had been put out even when I ASKED to see my items 45 minutes before. And she was not able to tell me more than 3 items that were taken and would not give me sizes so I could go look for them myself. And 30% oh no, more like 10%. Yes they had been taken to another store and I will continue to take them to more so I can sell them. Most importantly when I asked to speak to a manager she said she was the manager (YIKES) and then my mother called and asked for the owner.... the owner had a minion call back and said she didn’t have time...

When I dropped off my things they told me they were very backed up and it would take longer than normal to get my “buy” completed. No problem I wasn’t in a hurry.
I dropped them off on a Monday. We went out of town on a Thursday and by that point I had not heard from them. When we got back in town the following week I decided to check with the store since I still had not received any phone calls (nor had any missed calls from them) and they proceeded to tell me they called me the previous week but it didn’t ring and they were not able to leave a message.….
Yet since it had been over a week their system had converted my cash into store credit. I do not want store credit!! I sold my things to get cash and get rid of things. And when I dropped my things off I specifically checked the box stating that I wanted cash!!!! They would not give me the option to take my things back either. So they basically took my things and gave my store credit to a store I don’t shop at with NO PROOF of a phone call nor...
