Office Depot — Local services in Rockwall

My office spends alot with O.D. I work from home alot and order supplies on our business account to pick up from the Rockwall store. I just had a HORRIBLE experience with the store manager. He first could not get into his system to get my order. Then, I told him I ordered 3 inks, but only 1 was in the bag. He rudely said...then that's all we had. I asked if they got more in. He sarcastically said it wouldn't matter. Uh..what? I need to get my other 2. It had been a few days so I said if he got them in, I want to get them. He sarcastically laughed, grabbed my paperwork and took off. He came back doing other things. He was at the cash register and it wouldn't work and in front of me and other customers shouted "Jesus Christ!" Then he handed me the paperwork and just said no..we do not have. I asked for a receipt showing what we would be charged. He yelled and said you have it! I said this is for the office and my receipt shows purchasing 3 inks. He hit the packing slip in my hand and said that's it!!! There are no prices. He said " That's what y'all get for ordering online and picking up!!!" I just said alright and left. I do not have the company cc to buy in person. I have to order and pick up. I will NEVER use the ROCKWALL OFFICE DEPOT again. I have NEVER been treated so rudely. I am an accountant and 60 years old. I was not in business clothes. Did that make a difference? If I can report him, I will. I felt sorry for the employees as they watched this guy. Two came by me...

Came today to find a few things as we both work from home. When I approached the desk a person who turned out to the general manager, appeared to be working on some labels so I waited patiently. Once he addressed me, he just looked at me over the top of his glasses as if I was a bother to him. No how can I help you, no smile, I asked do you carry foot rests. His cold response was we don't carry those in store and went back to his task as if I annoyed him by asking an inventory question. Fast forward, we are checking out and the young gentleman was also rude. The transaction had been had been processed and he pulled the bag from me being able to hold it, and said no not until I get the message that it has been approved. He went on to say I can't let you hold it because you could run out of the store with it not being paid. He was completely rude to us and had zero customer service skills. I said to him, yeah I look like a theif after running my card and we saw on the pos machine it had been approved and you just profiled us after we spent a good chunk of money. There were maybe 5 customers in the whole store. This entire store is depressing and the employees all looked like they hated being there and treated us poorly. We spent a lot of money today and we will NEVER return to this location again. Corporate needs to retrain the staff at...

This is my first time using Office Depot for its print laminate services, and therefore, my first time utilizing the Rockwall location. Online ordering was a breeze. I was giving an email that told me that it would be probably 6 p.m. today before my order was ready and that I would get a follow-up email when it was ready. I called about 4 p.m. this afternoon to find that my order was already prepared, and once I checked my e-mail I found that they had followed up as they said that they would I just missed it. I was able to pick up my project before heading to a new job where I have been given quite a bit of responsibility right off the bat, and I'm super excited to implement this at my location.

He was the one who prepared my order, the one who answered the phone when I called, and was able to answer my MANY questions....

& apparently I checked curbside pickup, AND also checked contactless in-store pickup..... BUT He STILL knew exactly where my order was when I came in. I was so embarrassed when I realized that I had selected too many items of convenience while learning The Office Depot online site...

but no muss, no fuss!!!! as a matter of fact with all the time he saved me, I was able to sit here in the parking lot and write this Resounding review. Will definitely be using...
