Usually, I have an average experience at Popeyes. Yesterday, the customer service was horrific -- and it was from the Manager! I ordered eight blackened chicken tenders, which is a 5-piece combo and 3 additional tenders. She rang up a Family Combo, which came up to $30. I was looking at the screen and I could see that she keyed in something that wasn’t quite what I wanted. I told her that was a mistake and that the pricing was incorrect on the screen. So, she was said, “The pricing is right.” So, I said I could pull to the window so we could clear it up. I thought maybe she couldn’t hear me. So, I get to the window, and I tell her that my order isn’t correct and that the price is more than this meal is usually. She immediately became defensive and combative. She said, if you have a problem with the prices, you need to call Corporate. I don’t make the prices. I said no, I usually don’t have a problem with the prices, but for 8 tenders, it usually doesn’t cost $30. She began yelling at me and saying, “Like I said, if you have a problem with the price you need to call Corporate. The prices went up and I don’t control them.” I then asked, could she simply repeat my order, then. She was like, “No because if you have a problem with pricing, you need to call Corporate.” I was like, “Can you just tell me what you keyed in. Can you repeat my order.” She said, “I got down what you said.” I then asked, can I then see the receipt or something, so I can verify my order.” “She was like, no you have to pay first.” I told her I’m not paying $30 for 8 tenders. I don’t think that’s right. So, finally an associate comes over and looks at the order. He sees the problem and fixes it. My order is then $17. I was like, thank you. That’s what I ordered. She was like, “NO, I took down what you ordered. This is what you said!” She had keyed in an 8 piece Family Order! I was like, No Maam, that’s not correct!” Finally, I said, “May I speak to a Manager.” She was like, “I AM THE MANAGER.”I was floored! How could the Manager talk to me like that and carry on in this manner? I was like, WOW. So, I went in and asked for her name and told her that I was going to escalate this because the way she acted wasn't right. She ignored me and continued speaking in Spanish to her employees because she knew I couldn't understand what she was saying. She told them not to give me her name. So, I called Corporate. I have to update my review, I thought I'd give them amother chance this past Sunday (8-24-25) because it's become significantly worse. Apparently no one bothers now to even take counter orders. I stood their several minutes while everyone ignored me. One employee was standing around by I think the food prep area on his phone, the management person (young lady who appeared to be pregnant) wasn't making any effort to take orders herself or find the person who was. Then a couple more people came in behind me and still no one even bothered to say they'd be with us in a minute and the manager gave those of us standing there a dirty look. The people behind me asked if anyone was taking orders, no one responded so they left and I did to, the Wendy's next door was happy to quickly take my money. This location has serious customer service issues on Sundays. I'm done. I won't be back to a place with employees who don't give a crap about doing their job right.
Whoever the young man at the counter register was yesterday afternoon (7-20-25) was, someone needs to let him know that trying to have conversations on his phone while taking orders is a terrible idea. I had to repeat my order multiple times and he still didn't get it right that the order was for here and not to go. He continued having a conversation with someone on the phone even after that and ignoring customers until he finally noticed them.

I Complain Several Times In Person Along With Other Customers & I Have Hand Written A Letter Of Complaint As Well As Another Customer Present With Complaints On This Same Girl Who Hand Written Hers & Turned In With Complaints.
