I just don’t understand how these employees don’t know how to simply add an employee discount on top of my red card. I just went, and at checkout I tried to tell the lady how to add the team member discount and she clicked pay & print receipt after I tried to explain how to do it. I had to go to guest services, return everything, and get everything re-rang in. I had to explain to a DIFFERENT employee how to correctly add a team member discount on top of a red card discount. (Not to mention this has happened 4 times total including today at this specific target and it’s because employees just don’t care)
If you scan the team member discount then red card it will delete the team member discount and it will have to be re scanned on top of the red card discount. -she clicked pay then the target circle screen pops up to get me to scan my target app and it takes her to the checkout screen I told her she had to go back to the shopping cart and she immediately clicked pay and said “go back where” she was supposed to go back to the cart and scan my team member discount because the team member discount doesn’t work on the checkout screen.
This lady told me to my face I couldn’t use my team member card on top of my credit card and I told her that I didn’t use a credit card i had her scan my red card from my phone, didn’t pull out a single credit/debit card, and she tried to tell me I was wrong and also tried to defend herself.    Read moreI had a difficult time locating the Kleenex and toilet tissue. Spent about 20 minutes trying to find those items. They seemed to be located in an unusual spot in the store. I finally found them after passing by the pet food. I never go to the pet section of the store so the paper products seemed to be in a strange spot. When I went to check out, it was very confusing for this reason: I had about 20 items to pay for but I only had two checkout counter choices. One counter was marked "10 Items or Less" and the only other choice was "Self Checkout". I NEVER go through the "Self Checkout" because it usually takes me 5 times longer because of various problems and then I have to wait longer because the one person there to help with these problems is usually tied up helping the other Self Checkout people with their problems. So, confused as to what to do, I opted to go to the 10 items or less aisle. I felt terrible doing this and the lady behind me was upset with me because I had more than 10 items. She gave me a nasty look and moved over to the Self Checkout. Now, I'm really embarrassed!!! I told the checkout clerk that I didn't understand why I am supposed to Self Check if I have more than 10 items. She explained that they were short on employees that night so those were the only two choices! If you guys are going to close all the regular checkout lanes, have the courtesy of keeping a regular lane open for those of us who are most likely spending more $ than those checking out at the Fast Lane.    Read moreWe did a lot of shopping with 8 families on Sunday the 13th, to say the least the store was extremely busy, but there were three Target team members that were unbelievable and embodied what I believe is the Target standard, Taylor, Cheyenne, and Jennae. They welcomed my partner in I with open arms in the store, they did everything in their power to make sure there was a lane available for us to continue to checkout the families we were serving, and the best part about it all, they did it with a smile in the middle of the all the people shopping. I could not be more pleased with the service that we received from these three ladies and it needs to be recognized for everything they did. Above and beyond customer service is lacking in todays retail industry and these ladies gave me hope that it still exists. Taylor, from understanding the mission, to making sure that we were taken care of as long as she possibly could with how busy it had gotten. Cheyenne, making sure that there was a register available to us as long as she could, but also, Cheyenne helped me a lot, especially when I couldn't find somethings, she didn't hesitate to go help me scan things and find it. Mrs. Jennae, unbelievable positive attitude. She checked out almost every family until it was time for her to go home. She laughed, she smiled, she was so upbeat and up for the task.
