This time today at Willis Fine Jewelry was such a wonderful experience! Upon entering, my quest was to see if there was the slightest possibility I could find a ring for an adopted granddaughter turning 16, but felt I was probably being unrealistic of finding something I could afford other than Sterling silver basic styled bands. Almost a complete circle of viewing the gorgeous jewelry & thought I'd confirmed I was way out of my league for this venture, when this friendly and vivacious man stepped up to check on my interest and what I was looking for.

He guided me to the sterling Pandora rings and as we were visiting, he seemed to address my purpose as though what I needed was the most important of anyone there. As I looked, the perfect ring was just below and the perfect price. Offers to help included interest in my own diamond rings with offers to clean and adjust my deceased husband's wedding band I was wearing to be buffed and fixed for a bent spot and then to guide me for the sizing issues for my granddaughter's ring I was purchasing. Wow. This was such kind and thoughtful attention. The ring that was there was so unique, fit the special need of having a surface that would not snag or get hung, but especially this very unusual and beautiful ring was like it was made for her! I'm thrilled with today's experience and purchase. I met his daughter who completed the time there with her attention along with gift wrapping and added touches. I was treated so personally!

Husband and I went into the Rockwall store to make an exchange. Carolyn assisted us. She tried so hard to help me make the right decision. I was having a hard time finding exactly what I wanted and we were starting to run short on time. I was about to just settle and Carolyn would not let me do that. She said she wanted to make sure I loved the piece I picked out. The store is a good 50min to an hour away from where we live so for me to get back over that way would have taken effort on my part. Carolyn explained that I didn’t have to come back in if I didn’t want to, she stated she would put some things together and text them to me. She said she would even have someone try it on if I wanted her to just to get a better idea. She was accommodating on every level. The following week I ask Carolyn for some specific pictures, which she quickly sent and from those I picked out something completely different than what I had originally thought I was going to get. Having had left the store and had a few days to think more about what it was I was looking for and Carolyn not letting me just settle for the sake of picking something I was able to get a gorgeous ring and a chain so I could put a very special pendant on it that I already had. This store was recommended to my husband by 2 different people he works with and I have to say, I can honestly see why. They take care of their customers! For the most part my experience at Willis has been quite pleasant! However, I cannot say the same for my wife. She came into the store looking to get a ring made for me and was looking for a quote. After a couple she was given one which was all good. But for some reason, the employee she was working with must’ve worked for a car dealership before with how pushy they were being towards my wife. I’m talking at least one call a day and multiple texts over the course of like 3 weeks, even after my wife had made it clear that she was not going to buy from here. The prices were a bit over the top for what she was looking for but would’ve been fine if the employee wouldn’t have been so pushy and, as some would call it, desperate to make a sale.

Overall my experience has been very pleasant (thank you Herlinda)!

One slight gripe I have though was when I came to get my wife’s band soldered onto her ring, the soldering wasn’t quite done evenly. It’s not quite centered evenly, and you can’t quite see it, but it’s the one thing I notice whenever I look at it now.
