It is with great pain I want to update you of the latest development in the community. The excellent management team led by Peter is no longer working here. Peter was a guy who was very unbiased, took the right decisions, took great care of the property and the community and was very balanced in his approach. As you can see from the excellent reviews provided, it was because of his management skills that the residents were so happy.
However, recently, many of the residents were surprised to learn that Peter and his team was suddenly forced to leave their positions. The new management who has replaced him is biased against people like me and are acting up with us. They are literally telling on our face that “You guys are tenants, pay only rent, and stay like that. Don’t behave as if you are the owners.” It came to our notice that this new management is arbitrarily changing rules and policies and violating the lease agreements, and they are probably doing it with people like us. Let me narrate to you a small incident that happened today at 1415 hours on November 29, 2018. I wanted to reserve the clubhouse for a particular day. We booked it from 10 AM to 6 PM. The reservation was made. Then, we received a call from the management office that this reservation cannot be honoured. They stated that one can reserve the clubhouse only for five hours, and no more than that. I physically went to the office to discuss this and was treated extremely poorly by the management. On being insistent of showing where the policy is written, they refused to confirm any paper and said it was on their sole owner discretion (although I doubt it if that’s the case). Even the lady at the front desk, who is probably assisting the management, made an untrue sentence. She said, as the tenant, we are in anyways violating the rules of the agreement because we are supposed to make the reservation three months in advance. However, that’s not true. In the document, it is written that “Reservations are accepted up to 3 months in advance”, which is completely different from saying, “Reservations are supposed to be made three months in advance”.
It seems that the new management is on an agenda of targeting and abusing people like us because they are trying to create an impression that we are not welcome inside this community. This is an entirely new experience for us as we have been really enjoying our stay till the new management has started this mayhem. I request to all the residents of the community that in these difficult situations it is vital that we stay united, keep ourselves calm and we follow the path of friendship and brotherhood which Peter always used to show to us. It's not buildings which make up a community, it is the residents who do it. As Coretta Scott King said, "The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members."
To the future residents, especially if you are like me, I will request you to think twice. I will wait to hear back from the regional management and would update you about the decision they finally took.

Read moreI wanted to like this apartment complex as it was the perfect area for what we were looking for, but unfortunately things just kept “piling” up. The constant smell of people smoking ( in a smoke free community). Extremely loud neighbors. People in the building letting their pets pee all through the hall and not cleaning it, led to terrible smells and overall unsanitary conditions. Additionally, a large amount of theft in the complex. My car was broken into with items stolen, days later an entire car was stolen. Prior to these two events there were many others, they hired “security” to patrol during specified hours for a short while. But that stopped quickly. They had no issues installing cameras in our building to assess whose pet was urinating as it was costing them money to clean and repair the carpets. But no cameras in parking for the overall safety of the residents in the community. A neighbor above us was also in shock by all of these hinges going on after staying there for a few years so moved out as well. Read moreExtremely rude management with a power trip problem. I moved into an apartment that was not cleaned at all and smelled of cigarettes. I reported it to Jennifer, who was the property manager immediately. She refused to do anything about it and said, "It just smells stale." I had to go to corporate to get the issue resolved. Afterward, the staff retaliated by refusing to resolve work requests properly and started making up fake complaints about us. They actively harassed us and would disable our keyfob access to the clubhouse. The final staw was our upstairs neighbor flooding his apartment. I reported it and asked if they were going to send anyone so that the ceiling could be fixed properly and Jennifer gave me a snarky "no," to which I went to corporate yet again.
