Extra Space Storage — Local services in Rocky Hill

We are having some trouble with our rented storage space For the 27 feet RV , We had been parked for 31/2 months when we go on our first trip taking out the RV an hour and a half later they called telling us that we have been parked in the wrong spot and that when we get back we wouldn’t be able to park when we were in that spot , it’s the perfect spot (straight in hitch and out )especially for new RV owners that still don’t know how to park, My husband tried speaking with the staff with no help also called a manager and she was powerless!!! she would just be able to send a message to her district manager , Luckily once we got back from the trip a staff willing to listen and willing to convey our important message to the administration Suzanne F. She saw how inconvenient moving to That new spot(having to parallel park) would be, lucky that when we arrived the person in our original spot had parked all the way to the front of their spot leaving half of their space empty which allowed us to maneuver the hitch back to the spot newly assigned however if they were using the space we would have a major inconvenience on a Sunday. Thanks for taking to us and comprehending how inconvenient this morning would be for us.I believe they’ll be able to correct this mistake without us having to move since the property it self is great. I gave extra space storage a great review v4 years ago and am ashamed I have to change my review this new manger is ruining extra space storage name his attitude sucks he's nice to who he wants to be nice to I been here for 15 years I met over 7 mangers in the pass years and this new manger is the worst never had rats roaches wasp frog in my storage unit he's not keeping up with maintenance on this property I know atleast 5 folks who had to moved because of this new manger because he lives on the property he feels people should pay extra for storage unit but it's really going towards his rent to live free so he raises everyone rents for the fun of it when he came here I was paying $90 for my unit because I've been here so long he raised my to $190 instead of 90 I would NOT recommend extra space storage to NO one new manger is not for this facility FYI.extra space storage BIG OWNER look down and fix this your loosing business because of this new manger 💯.also the new manager look me in my eyes and said if you don't like the way the am doing business I can leave that's what he said to customer who's been here at extra space storage for 15 years so he really don't care about any complaints I ask for a rat trap 1 year ago iam still waiting for the trap I ask him his response was don't know what to...

So far I am very pleased I chose Extra Space, I got the unit I wanted at a affordable price process was quick and simple. Unit is clean and exactly the size I needed. My only concern at this point is how long the affordable rate I was given lasts. I have heard and seen similar situations with other places to only raise that rate shortly after renting them. They lure you in with a good reasonable rate then raise figuring you don't want to go thru the trouble of moving your stuff again. In my case I only have 3 items in there so I will not hesitate to move, I don't want to and hope to stay where I am but that's on them. Hoping for a good relationship and experience time will tell. Again I will say so far everything is good I'm happy with situation at this point in time. Right now Extra Space is a A+ 10 out of 10 rating...
