Have had good experiences, which is why the food is at 4/5 stars.

Previously had gone here with some coworkers in years prior and had a great experience and recommended it to friends and plenty of people. Due to the good experiences I had, I took my finance, to which we had a “semi-poor” experience, silverware was not brought out with food, was told “it was all being washed at the moment” even though my fiancé’s entree was a salad which can’t be eaten without utensils, and then we had received cold appetizers which were taken off the menu, but the overall experience was still “pretty alright” as all the rest of the food and the experience was good. We had decided we were going to come back as this isn’t typically the experience I had and wanted to make a better impression

Fast forward to December ‘24, me and my fiancé had gone for dinner, and we were told right when we walked in that “there was no room for us” despite asking if we could get any sort of time estimate at all. My finance was rightfully so, unhappy, so she DM’d the restaurant after I had left a bad review on Google, on Instagram just to proclaim that we were completely turned away without even an option to be added to a list, which the restaurant apologized and asked us to come back and make it right for us, stating that “sometimes servers like to make up their own rules when there’s not someone there in charge”

To give them a second chance, I took down the review. After that, we noticed that we were being left on “read” on all the messages that my girlfriend was sending them on Instagram and never heard back again. Very odd treatment from a business.

Yes, this is quite a bit later - but the original review was taken down to be cordial. Personally would not recommend and have not...

I’ve come here a few times but tonight will be my last. Food is mediocre but decent American fare. Tonight my server told me the kitchen would be closing soon so I needed to put in my order quickly because the kitchen closed at 9, which was no problem. I thought because the restaurant closed at 10 I had time but ya know, whatever. I placed an order quickly and he brought it out quickly too. As I was eating I noticed him lingering and asked me 2x if I needed anything else. As soon as I declined the second time he brought the check and said “no rush”. I continued to eat my food at a decent pace I may add. Once again I noticed him lingering, I was debating on a drink but was figuring he wanted the check so I pulled out my card and left it on the table, not even 5 seconds (I counted) did he come and take the card to run it. Now I definitely felt like I was being rushed. He dropped the receipt and I continued to eat my fries. About 5 minutes maybe 6, he said “sorry to rush you but I’m trying to get out of here , do you mind signing your check” like huh….…he wasn’t rude but as far as service goes I was beyond underwhelmed. I didn’t even wanna finish my food because I was so annoyed. And to top it off when he was walking out the door he said “I’m outta here!!” like it was the biggest inconvenience. I’d rather eat somewhere where I don’t feel like me being hungry after a hard days work is problematic. I was in the restaurant from start to finish all of 35 minutes....

Well where do I start. I went there for lunch had a great time. Meet the supposed owner and ran some ideas past him for the evening while doing a car show in the adjacent lot. When I went back I tried to open the bar for the locals to support veterans abroad and was rudely greeted with the actual supposed owner who later had his "head of security" grab me by the throat and push me then grab my wallet and toss it claiming to have the right to do so based of ct laws. Now I'm an 11 year and ongoing veteran who was only doing a nice thing by offering an opportunity to salute those away from home for the upcoming holidays. I asked the head bartender if I could open the tab for 1 drink to any and all interested and was told yes. I had no idea that I needed to request permission from multiple individuals when it's a live band and the DJ was willing to announce my intentions. Needless to say I spent 65 of food and a 120% tip to my waiter. I'll NEVER GO back there again. Seems to be anti military and or lacks the support of our troops from this hostile display the owner presented today. I will continue to show support for my brothers and sisters and ask those who support the same to stay clear of this establishment. The proper way to have handled it would have been to explain these unwritten inhouse rules or policies. As a customer, I am speechless that this is how restaurants are allowed to treat...
