I want to say that I love my psychiatrist. However I've been at Heartland/Tap360 since 2016, and while my mental health care has improved and l love my psych, I have found it near impossible to get my physical health needs met in 8 years. My psychiatrist should not be my PCP, and yet she is listed as so on my insurance card because of this.
Doctors don't listen to you, prescribe you things without hearing the full story only to be like 'oh we didn't need to give you that' when you can finally get a word in, are always in a rush to leave even if they are late with you. Scheduling and communication is horrible. If you have a follow up you, will be asked by the nurse why you are here, they'll write it down, only for the doctor to come and ask why are you here, and you never feel like they want to hear you out as an actual patient. Imagine your therapist every session begins with "what did you want again???" I understand the pressures but can you at least act like you care? I'm also frustrated by the lack of passion? I hear a lot of "I don't know" but I'm coming to you because you are the doctor and have expertise. The next step should be "I don't know but I will find out for you"??? If you have extensive family history of a disease good luck getting heard if you are young even if those diseases came early for your family members and you have been experiencing symptoms for years. I have had symptoms for over a decade and have gotten no where at Tap360. Too many assumptions made based on looks and not actually scientific testing or processes. Horrible bedside manner and horrible practices. Im looking for other doctors now outside of Tap360 with my limited insurance. I really don't want them to be the reason I don't live long.
My dad also received care here and the only reason he found out he had severe arthritis was when he got a CT scan related to his cancer spreading after going to the ER + a chiropractor was able to tell him with one visit. This man had so much pain walking but not once was he diagnosed with arthritis until the end of his life. I'm not going to wait til I have to go to the ER for these doctors to finally listen. It feels like malpractice.
Also Tap360, I won't be emailing your customer service if you respond to this. I don't think that gets anywhere for anybody based on reading various reviews at your locations. Just do better. I'm no longer loyal to Tap360 as you've shown me you...

Finally you can schedule appointments online! Huzzah! Still adore Dr. Johnson. Front of house has also improved. Glad to see the change.
2022 Update :
Still subpar phone communications. Was sixth caller waiting to discuss a prescription I am needing. Hit option for call back option. Twenty minutes later they call back of course when I am doing dishes, the phone rings TWICE before they hang up. I couldn't get my hands dry and turn around to the counter fast enough to answer. Called back. Still 6th in line and the callback option is now no longer working.
I have been going to Heartland Health Centers on Devon for 6 years now and have been under the care of Dr. Sarah Johnson ever since. Dr. Johnson is amazing. She is always thorough, compassionate and patient. I have always felt listened to as well as that I am getting great care.
My only complaint is the hold times as of late. I know that COVID is making everything harder on everyone, but on multiple occasions I have been kept on hold for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. And sometimes the answering service just hangs up on you. When you finally get into the building as well things have improved greatly. My first view visits in the beginning the front of house staff was indifferent and seemed more interested in socializing than anything else. But recently it is more precise and well organized, so that is a welcome change.
Always tidy, and I feel like I continue to get great...
Read moreMy doctor is cool and the office is very clean and cute there's even a little garden in the middle. But boy do I have a really hard time with the rest of the staff. Trying to call with questions is impossible. They send you to a voicemail and say they'll call you back. I called around 3 or 4 times no one ever called me back. The only way to reach an actual person is to choose the option of making an app. The wait to see the dr is horrible I'm always early for everything I do and I always get in to see the dr 30 to 40 min after my set app time. The front desk staff is not friendly and only one person is usually doing all the intake while the rest of them joke around and do whatever it is they do. I have an app today and if it weren't an emergency I'd deff be trying a different dr out.
Literally another very unsatisfied experience. The main point of my visit was to get a refill on another prescription. Went to the pharmacy to find out they haven't even sent it. I would highly recommend finding a different dr office. Third time here and every time I am...
