I was followed by 2 kids and their adult family member all the way from Thorndale to this location one day after they were upset with me for walking past them. They thought I was leaving the store when I went back to the front to get bread and an argument ensued. An employee came to diffuse the situation and asked if I wanted the police called. The 3 were waiting outside for me and they had something they wanted to throw on me I’m assuming so I accepted the employees offer. She then spoke to an older black female employee in the produce section (I’m also black) and the lady shook her head and went to the back. Don’t know what they discussed but it seems that the original employee did not want to assist me after speaking to her coworker. I finished shopping and my fiancé offered to pick me up but by that time the 3 stooges were gone so I decided to walk home as I live less than 5 minutes away. I wanted to thank the original employee for her assistance but she was talking to another customer for quite some time and didn’t seem like it was going to end so I left. Just wanted her to know that although the police weren’t called I appreciated her caring at first before talking to the other lady who most likely thought I was some knucklehead like the other 3. It didn’t sit well with me so I didn’t go back for a long time. Other than that the store is very convenient and although the lines can be long, those employees can get someone with 50 items checked out in less than 5 mins! (Side note: the 3 people were making fun of a woman for how she was dressed and weren’t watching where they were going so at the last second before we ran into each other, I slid past them without any contact which resulted in them...

The Hispanic lady(black hair in a bun) shoved my basket away because there was cat litter spread all over the store. As she began to sweep, I parked my cart at the side and began organizing my grocery. She then said "can you move I'm cleaning". Totally rude and uncalled for. It's not my fault a customer inconvenienced you by accidentally dropping cat litter all over the floor. If I could help you I would but I don't work there. I know everyone has bad days but you can't take it off on a customer. I just kept looking at her because she was not nice. I didn't want to check out on her lane just to avoid unnecessary confrontation. She then decided to call me out to offer checkout but I declined . So she went over with the other cashier and whispered something into his ear and both laughed. Very childish and lack of professionalism. I guess she felt such negative emotions enough to share her commentary to others. I can't imagine working with employees like that .Very negative and draining.
Food was ok otherwise. They don't offer home products like the...
Read moreIn the mornings, it's trash. The light skin super supervisor or manager with the curly hair drives her electric pallet jack with little regard to whoever's around her, doesn't have a spotter, and nearly hit me at least more than one time since I've been going to the store. She is very rude and will make it seem like you're in her way when if I wasn't in her way, she wouldn't be getting paid. The cashier was not personable at all. They don't acknowledge the customers. They just ring you up then hand you your receipt after you pay like you're just another number. The afternoon and evening shift workers are a joy to be around but the ones that I encountered this morning, I would give them a zero star if I could. As well as pointing out that if that supervisor were to hit me with her electric pallet jack, I would definitely take legal action so you should all watch that. Perhaps do some more people training with your morning shift workers. I'd rather catch the bus or walk 10 blocks to Broadway and Wilson than spend another dime at this store. At least if these people are there. Sad because they're black and it isn't really...
