Ulta Beauty — Local services in Rogers

Me and my friend, along with her older sister got SECURITY called on us today. We didn’t do anything suspicious and as we walked around chatting and talking about different products, one red haired employee kept eyeing us. My friend’s older sister put her few items down on a shelf to go back and use the bathroom. As she went to the bathroom the employee followed her back there and called security and asked if they were allowed to take their bags into the bathroom?? Are we gonna just leave our bags for someone to steal? When the older sister came back to us as me and my friend were looking at the ELF section this security guard kept eyeing us. We asked him if he needed anything and he said nope! Later when we were IN LINE to check out he came up to us along with this man in casual clothes walked up to us. The guard said “you know there is cameras here, so if you have anything now is your time.” Mind you we all had no pockets, me and my friend has two open lulu belt bags with nothing in them, and the older sister had a bag on her bag which has 2 bibles in it. Nothing ended up happening but we called and the manager was super super sweet and apologetic. Don’t hate on the manager or any employees here (everyone else was so so sweet) , it was just that one red...

For some reason there’s hardly any reviews on the services that Ulta provides. The salon is AMAZING and so is Megan who is the Dermalogica skin therapist!

Breanna usually cuts my husband’s hair, so I decided to book a coloring appointment with her. She gave life to my boring, brown hair by giving me an ashy blonde balayage and I’ve never been so impressed with my hair. She was the sweetest ever and is super easy to talk to and makes you feel at ease. I swear, those three hours just flew right by! My hair looks great and everyone has been complimenting me on it and asking where I got it done.

My skin was in need of some TLC, so I booked a facial. Megan was very informative and she made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. She didn’t make me feel bad for not taking very good of my skin, which I was super worried about. I was relaxed the whole time and so comfortable with her. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing it, and then recommended a customized skin-care routine for me to do at home. My skin immediately felt better and I could see a difference right away.

I’ve come in contact with a lot of stylists in between my visits to Ulta. Breanna, Marisol, Sandra, and Rachel have all been very friendly. I’d recommend this...

UPDATE March 2018: I decided to give Hit a another chance. It's been a while since I last visited and wrote the review below. I can say that nothing has changed. We both went in and looked around to see what was new. A few of the sales girls walked right past me and never even looked my way. One girl walked right past us and asked the lady RIGHT BEHIND ME (who just walked in) if she needed help!!! Spent about 15-20min and still nothing! I bought some face cleanser and the girl at the register was very sweet. But this store lacks customer service and friendliness. They will not bother with a customer if they don't look "rich". I will continue to go to Sephora until ULTA can change their attitudes. OLD REVIEW: I will never go to Ulta again!!! My husband and I were in there for 45+ minutes and we were never greeted or asked if we needed help finding anything. We passed every single employee and got the "cold shoulder". A few of the younger girl employees were so self absorbed in their own lifes and what was posted on instagram than their own customers! I have never delt with such rude and inconsiderate employees! I've worked years in retail and I would never act like that! My $225 was spent at Sephora...
