Daniel and I had been trying out mattresses for about 9 months. We've spent countless hours traveling from store to store in the NWA area. Do we like soft or firm, pillow top or not, low profile or standard. We kept coming back to the Natasha. It's a Beautyrest Black series. Finally we had decided! Now where to purchase. Amazon and several other online retailers offered the Natasha, but did we really want to order online? We opted to purchase at our local Havertys. We had been in the store multiple times but didn't really have a salesperson that we were working with specifically. On a random Thursday morning I walked into the store and was greeted warmly by Nehemiah. He asked how he could help me and I responded with I know exactly what I wanted. He and I walked back to the mattress section ordered the Natasha mattress and box spring set. We arranged a delivery date, I paid and was done! Fast forward a few weeks and we were two days before the delivery date and it hit me out of the blue....surely the new bed comes with a bed frame, right? Since we were changing from a queen to a king, we didn't have a king frame. So on my lunch break I called Havertys. After talking to several people I was able to talk to Nehemiah. He confirmed that I needed to purchase the frame, it was not free or included with the cost of the bed. Not a huge issue, but it would have an issue had I not thought to ask. I split the blame for the oversight at 50% Nehemiah and 50% on myself. Do I think he should have asked, yes, in hindsight. But I also didn't allow him to "sell" me on the mattress purchase. I went in, knew what I wanted, bought it and was out in less than 15 minutes, so lesson learned on my part and hopefully on Nehemiah's.
The several times we visited the store were pleasant experiences. Nehemiah was professional as was the checkout personnel.

Expensive sectional is pilling, cushions are losing shape fabric stretches and doesn’t fit the cushions as well, and feathers are poking out all over.
When we had warranty out their solution was to have a guy use a hand held sweater pilling remover; how insulting! Like the solution to the fabric problem is as simple as a $3 pilling device. Just so everyone is clear this is the recommended fabric they have one the showroom floor and “stand behind” as durable. The fabric pills and makes the couch look more worn then it should and it stretches out so it doesn’t fit the cushions like it did. There are bubbles in the fabric on top of the cushion another item they would not address. Certain materials just do that as we all have learned from doing laundry. The material did not hold up as well as we had hoped. We also bought a table and that had some problems they wouldn’t stand behind as well.
Old review: We are ALWAYS happy with the quality, experience, delivery, and customer service here. The staff is patient and friendly and we have bought from multiple people on multiple occasions. Read moreI'm so extremely tired of my pieced-together furniture we have been living with since relocating. For many reasons our furniture in VA isn't forthcoming. We only anticipate renting for ten more months but can hardly stand it. My daughter was visiting the dentist and I decided to pop in and just have a look. Cheryl greeted me soon after, which I personally don't mind however my husband feels differently. She and I were able to get a lot out of the way which was helpful to me since I was actually pressed for time. She showed me three or four sectionals that she thought I may like. I ruled one out quickly. She gave me all the info on them that was relevant and that I ask for at the time. When I asked to walk around there was never a speech or hover -- at all, which I appreciate and quite frankly would have been impossible with my husband present. I was very happy to know there are a couple of couches in stock that may work for us.
