My fiance and I moved out middle of October 2023. We were there for a year and 3 months. In that time the manager in the office changed twice and they could not keep a receptionist to save their lives. Abigail is new and she is the only pleasant and competent or caring person I've ever seen working at the lenox. Hopefully she will move on to better things. Upon move in we saw water damage in all of the windows and under both sinks and in the closet with the water heater. The windows mold and sweat in winter. The maintenance guys have been switched out completely. The first guy, Tony, did not give us notice that he would be entering our apartment and knocked but I was asleep (in the nude) and he came in after no one answered. We scolded the front office about this situation and it never happened again. But after that it was constant attitude from their manager Samantha. The new maintenance guy decided to come and go as he pleased while I was home alone waiting for him to fix a simple leak under the sink. He forced me to stay home the whole day for 2 days straight because he didn't bring the proper tools to do his job. And then came back the next day to check on everything. It just felt like he was way too comfortable invading my space and privacy. The apartment had spiders and a severe Ant problem. Nothing was ever done about it. I spent a ton of money on poisons and sprays. The grounds are infested with fleas. So if you have pets and they don't already have fleas, either keep them inside 24/7 or be prepared for an unceasing battle of trying to rid your pet of fleas. The heaters in the house are electric baseboard heaters which do not work correctly. Once you turn them on they will continue to run without ever stopping to control temperature. So you can't turn your heater on overnight or while you're at work because your house will be 90° inside. Before we moved in the sink in the kitchen had to be repainted. And after a few months the paint stuff on it began to peel. So we put in a maintenance request and they said we had to get out of the apartment for at least 8 hours, including pets. But did not give us any accommodations for that. We couldn't afford a pet sitter and so I asked if they had a show room apartment that we could stay in for 8 hours and they said yes and there should be a couple chairs to sit but we got there and it was completely empty. My cat ran out that door and back to her apartment, so I went in to get her back and the outsourced maintenance guy told me it would be no problem if we just went in the bedroom with the door closed. But the people at lenox strictly told us we had to be out for 8 hours or our pets could die. So they straight up lied to us and made our lives completely inconvenient and gave us a huge attitude about not wanting to give us accommodations. Then the sink was messed up again. We we had to do the entire debacle over again. We were so sick of this place we never wanted to see Sam or Tony's faces again. Every single time we spoke with anyone from the lenox which was usually Sam, nobody ever gave us any courtesy or compassion. The customer service is garbage with these people. Abigail is the only exception. Then mold grew in the closet with the water heater and Sam just completely ignored my email about it. Our rent was $2100 for a 1 bedroom apartment, which to me is outrageous. There is a lot of turnover in the tenants as well. People are constantly moving out or moving in. The grounds are beautiful and it's located in a good neighborhood right alongside the walking creek. But basically everything else about this place is horrible. It's been 4 weeks to the day since we moved out and still have not got our deposit back. Abigail told us they had 21 days to give it to us but they haven't. I called today to check on it. They are supposed to call me back. I do not recommend living here. It is over priced and shady to say the least. Update: it's been 3 months since we moved out and we had to threaten to take them to court and practically harass them to get our full...
Read moreWorst management ever, if you can call it that. Save yourself a headache and move somewhere else. Nobody returns phone calls, their utility billing isn’t divided fairly, there’s always garbage everywhere… I needed a few alterations to my unit to accommodate my disabilities. They ignored me for long enough my doctor referred me to a program that gave me a case worker to help communicate with the property management. They ignored her too, so she contacted housing who was going to start withholding rent and they ignored them too. I fell and hurt myself multiple times due to the lack of acknowledgement of my requests. I also had to have my bath tub refinished because their contractors are as useful as their management so everything is done poorly. I was told I had to be gone for 10 hours so I planned on staying the night at a friends house. Management assured me that the worker would get a lock box for my door so they could leave it locked up when they left. I was concerned, so she told me the maintenance guy would check to make sure my door had the lock box on it before turning in for the night. When I got home I found my door to be open and vulnerable to predators and thrives. I am a disabled single mom with a special needs kid and we had already our bikes and a mobility scooter stolen from being locked in front of our unit. At least two other neighbors had lost their bikes too, but when I brought it up to management several times so they could alert the community, they never bothered. I also alerted them many times about the homeless people sleeping in the laundromat, the cigarette butts everywhere, and the inoperable cars taking up the only guest parking spots, but they never addressed any of it. They really don’t care. The last point I have to make is that only the south side of the Lenox has a gym and it’s obviously dangerous to cut through the creek at night given the theft and homeless problems. It’s also overpriced for the current market to not have a washer and dryer in the unit and only one bathroom. We could have handled that if we weren’t ignored by management when asking for something as simple as a bar for my shower so I don’t slip again and break my neck. Shame on you, Lenox. Work on caring about...
Read moreThis is THE WORST apartment I have ever lived in. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a year and were counting down the months until our lease ended. The list goes on and on why this place sucks. When the glorious day came of finally putting in our intent to move, we went into the leasing office asking what their policy was. One of the ladies that worked there said "you need to put your notice in 30 days before move out". So that's what we did and then moved out. About a month later I receive a phone call from a debt collector saying we owe $2800 because we broke our lease and they were continuing to charge us rent until we paid it off. They were claiming we needed a 60 day notice not 30. So we checked our lease and it states 30 days. So I wrote a dispute letter to the company and they dropped everything. Creekview place will try everything in their power to screw you over and get every penny in your pocket.
We have seen at least 3 new managers in the 1 year we were there and probably another 3 associates that were swapped out.
One of our neighbors was housing homeless people and they would bring their junk wagon and park over the line into our covered parking space. We had to complain about this individual multiple times and management was able to get him off the property since he didn't live there. We still saw other individuals staying there.
There are 2 laundry rooms each with about 5/6 washing machines and at least 2 were always broken. So 90% of the time the others were always full.
We had mold in our apartment ever since we had moved in. The first manager told us we had to clean it ourselves. The second manager took a look at it and said we needed new windows and Pedro the Maintenence guy cleaned them for us. They never followed up and got us new windows.
Pedro was honestly the only great employee at this place. He is a hard worker and always so nice and willing to help you.
All in all,...
