Carlos was busy and working alone when I walked in. I wanted info regarding their free galaxy phone 24 promo. Even though he couldn't enroll me at the same time as the other gentleman, he was very clear with his communication and offered me another customer service representative who would arrive soon, and was more than willing to give up his commission to make me a happy customer period I had to ask him if he worked on commission. He did not tell me that, I asked after he told me i could see another other employee who would be in soon, since it would be faster. Most would have taken him up on this offer without ever thinking twice about it, but I have worked off of commission so I did ask if they do, and decided to stick with him for his CS skills. Ran an errand at CVS next door and came back, and he was wonderful at helping his current client. While in compassionate of my waiting and still answering questions from both of us throughout. I only wanted a phone and I hate shopping with a passion, so waiting to be served is not my forte. But he is up front and forthright and I ended up with wi fi bundling and cellphone service that saves me money and didn't cost me a whole lot up front. I am a single mother who just got divorced after eighteen years and i'm trying to figure out my life comma and everything seems to stress me out more than it should. I am also as close to a luddite as Gen. x can get. I walked out of there. Feeling really good about saving money and having a better phone than I ever have before. That was because of Carlos. I don't believe in social media and have no accounts anymore. So me posting this means I really cared about it, and I want other people to know a good thing (scientifically, you are more likely to tell people about bad experiences than good by a lot). I did not feel like anyone effed me over, which is probably the first time I knew I went to a salesman and walked out and thought I got a good deal for me over them. So Carlos, if you read this, "Thanks Dude. You made this overworked stressed out mid 40s single mom back in college feel like she had a little bit of financial control and that means...
Read moreSome of the least helpful service I've received in a store. I was in to purchase a phone that came with a $200 rebate. I was told the sales rep. would be signing me up for this rebate and that no further action on my part would be required. Over 10 weeks later and I've yet to receive anything on this rebate. No card, nothing in the mail, not even an e-mail confirmation which I apparently should have been getting.
Numerous attempts to call the store or arrive in person have had no luck confirming any information. They've directed me towards Verizon and LG's rebate help lines and tracking sites, which have all turned up with nothing. I've been told to talk to their store manager, who has yet to call me back or be in store when the employees have stated they will. The sales rep who helped me also seems to mysteriously go on break whenever I arrive in store. I don't want to assume it's related, but it's a weird coincidence.
I'm sick and tired of being given this runaround At this point I've accepted I probably won't be getting this rebate, but I shouldn't have to jump through all these hoops just to find out. I will never buy a phone directly through Verizon again, and this experience has me considering switching...
Read moreTori & Robert were both very friendly and helpful. The process of getting a new phone would have been unnecessarily complicated and stressful without their help. I was having a simple speaker malfunction, the phone was under warranty so they sent a new phone to my house. How ever the phone sent you me in the box came with no battery and no back. There is no possible way I could have transferred the data myself with only having one phone battery as both devices must be on at the same time to communicate and transfer properly. I was in the store for about an hour and a half while Robert flipped the battery back and forth and rummaged through desk drawers for an extra battery or sd card (trying to save me the money of purchasing one). I purchased the sd card to make the process somewhat easier, but it was still very time consuming. He was very apologetic about how long it took and we had a good conversation in between him helping other customers. Long story short the staff at the Robert Park location surpassed any service I have ever received in the Santa...
