I went in to sell my hand gun and obviously I wasn't happy with what I sold it for but I needed it sold so I did what I had to do. While the, I assume, owner was working on the paperwork for the gun I decided to go browse their guns. I was asked by a kid probably in his 20s ask if I want to check out a gun. I asked to see one of the ar12s. I was checking it out, pulling out the mag, checking everything out and I put the mag back in but it didn't lock. The kid then told me to hand him the gun and then proceeded to lock the gun back up. I was super confused and I said I wasn't done looking at it and then he says "you don't drop the magazine" I stared at him for about 2 seconds shocked by what just happened. People drop magazines. It happens. No other store/gun shop would act that way. None what so ever. What's really dumb about the whole situation for them and is the ar12 I was looking at I was gonna buy. I knew I was gonna buy it before he handed it to me. He actually upset me alot. All I wanted to do at that point is get the heck out of there. I will NEVER go back. And the worst part of all this is... well nothing will be done about it. Garbage. They get 2 stars for the amount of guns they have. If I could give them 10 stars I would. David, Chelsea and Emma are all honest people and try to help people out. I have bought close to 20 firearms from pawn center and have sold them plenty as well. With that being said some people need to understand how pawn shops operate and understand that they can't offer you what you can get privately. Reading these bad reviews are hilarious for one because none of them explain how they were in the wrong to begin with or it's people who just cannot handle being told no/sorry. I'll always do my firearm business with them. And also a word to people reading this trying to decide to go them, when you go there be nice and respectful and they will give you more on return. Another tip, (keep going back to build that relationship with them and you will thank me later and how good your experience will become with this pawnshop). I called Pawn Center and spoke with David about the feasibility of obtaining a new collector pistol and he said that he would put in an order to see if he could get the gun for me. Inside of 2 weeks David called me back and said the gun had been invoiced and would be in within a couple days. Surely enough, he called me back in two days and said the gun was ready for pickup. I came the next day and walked out with the gun in less than a half hour. Can't do that in Illinois! Just moved here 1.5 years ago and this was my first gun purchase in Missouri and I got a fantastic difficult-to-obtain gun at a great price! David also provided wonderful guidance for a local gunsmith and guitar engineer of which I am in great need. Thank you so much for the professional, quick, and courteous service. I will...
