We have purchased meats, poultry, fish and a large variety of deli meats from the staff at Nickabob’s for the last couple of years. The products are above the word excellent in quality noting being everything that you’d always expect but never received from the traditional grocery store. The freshness, tenderness, beauty, and overall quality of all their products don’t just meet but exceed every expectation that you’ve always wanted your traditional grocery store’s meat, poultry, fish and deli departments to be. Traditional grocery stores just don’t have the ability to provide you with the quality food or customer service you remember receiving years ago and thought this was simply a lost art. Nickabob’s is a true “meat, poultry, fish and deli” market in that the staff’s willingness to stand behind their products, willingness to make good on anything you’re not 100% pleased with, their ability to cut and package your order to meet all your specifications will now make this your go to store for all your cold & frozen main meals. This is a very well-established firm that never takes you for granted as though they expect you to come in off the street because they are who they are. They are always the ones in a quite cold environment that greats you with a smile and their kindness and true concern to make sure you’re taken care of is what’s on their minds from the start to the end of your visit. They never treat anyone customer above anyone else. Whether you go in for one fresh cut ¼ pound of meat to make one sandwich or to begin purchasing a lot of food, the staff will treat you and everyone else in the store equal. This is a staff who will provide you with the respect you deserve but never obtained from any other traditional retailer or wholesaler of products in the ways in which they do. Nickabob's is hands down my go-to meat market. They have some of the best selections for those that like their meat tame or for those that prefer a flavorful (hot) adventure or somewhere in between.They have a great staff and the owner loves to experiment and create wonderful combinations for jerky or even a special order, like the Andouille sausage I couldn't find anywhere in town. Their are beautiful cuts of meats, links (italian, bratwursts, smoked, kielbasa etc) and ground sausage (w/sage, hot, turkey, chicken, country style, etc), smoked meats, thick cut bacon (apple, hickory, jalapeno, pepper), chicken and seafood that I have had the pleasure of chosing for my dinner table. They also have a great selection of rubs and seasonings for beef, poultry and seafood and even some are salt free. Their prices are comparable to the box store prices and usually better.
