Bamboo West — Local services in Roseville

The owner is terrible!!!!!! My first visit here was “ok” during my first visit I noticed she was following me around the entire time I was inside of the store , it was very uncomfortable. I couldn’t browse and shop without her walking with me every step of the way!!! But I decided to give it another try so Recently I had a horrible experience on 12/9/20 I went into the store and purchased sea moss and 1 hour later I made it home and noticed it was mold in the sea moss literally patches of MOLD!!!! I called her immediately and she said she opens up at 10 am the next day and that I can bring the sea moss in. I went in the next day and gave her the sea moss she opened it and was blown away by the mold but she refused to give me a refund instead she tried to give me more sea moss.. I told her I didn’t want anymore because I can’t trust it.... I was calm , patient , kind and she still refused to give me a refund she said “she doesn’t do refunds” or “exchanges” but I this case I thought she would considering the mold was not my fault it literally came from her... also she sells FAKE SEA MOSS do research on fake sea moss and go look at hers “full of sodium” and “chunky” are signs of bad sea moss it looks grayish brown ... moral of the story is something is not quite right about this lady her energy is off she clearly does this for the money and not for health reasons she is not right I will NEVER Do business with her ever again... my people beware of this money hungry , cruel woman...

My spouse and I have been supporting this small business since it was a booth in gibraltar Trade Center. Her products are amazing, however the professionalism has seemed to take a turn downhill. I travel from out of town to support this business and when I arrived, it was completely dark, the sign says knock and no one answered the door. Hours says open at 10am and was there at 1145am. Called the phone and got no answer.

The 2nd before last visit, I came to the store, and upon arrival I was told to wear a mask and had to sanitize my hands, no problem. Once I begin touching the products, a different tone came out than I was comfortable with as a customer, but basically was told that I couldn't touch anything because of covid. Look, I understand she was freaked out over covid, but you sanitized my hands and had me put a mask on upon arrival, not to mention that she literally locked us into the store after we entered, which was very uncomfortable.

I also called to see if she could do online or over the phone orders and was told no. In summary, I will no longer be doing business with her. I will take my business elsewhere. Very unfortunate because I like supporting...

I've been shopping with the owner of Bamboo West since she was at Gibraltar Trade Center, well before she made the wonderful decision to land in Roseville. I SHOP NO WHERE ELSE! The owner is amazing, kind, professional, answers all your questions. Yes, she gives each customer a reasonable amount of her time and energy for their purchase to ensure they're well informed. To address basic questions, I saw that she provided a binder with general product information for customers to skim thru while she's preoccupied with others. A TRUE SMALL BUSINESS, which hopefully does not sell to the larger competitors due to impatient customers. If she does, our products will NOT be the same and it will be sad. Please respect her craft, her time, her energy and her business. She does that for each of us who shop with her and it is NOT easy for independent small business owners anymore. I love this place! The products are top notch and well selected. Owner is a beautiful POC with her professional game on lock. Love it. Worst thing is that my family has been shopping with her for years and I don't think any of us ever got her name. Smh. Lol....
