Figs n Olives Mediterranean market — Local services in Roseville

I was so excited to see what fig and olives was all about being a Palestinian. And the store was more than I imagined. They had everything to make an Arab girls heart happy and missing her roots being new to the area and not seeing a lot of Arab stores. But while I was checking out the 2 gentlemen were literally sitting there talking shit about me,not knowing I know Arabic.it honestly made me so uncomfortable and embarrassed of my self.now I don’t think I can ever step foot in that store nor recommend them to my huge family.It literally made me cry in my car. I’m all ready going through so much in my life and feeling low about my self.remember people if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say it at all. I am hurt. I don't understand why someone stood next to me and my son until we paid and left? Did they think I would steal because I'm a different color? I wanted to return everything but out of respect for my husband and my son I didn't. We came in approximately around 11am on 6/17/23, we are a thicker family of three, white male husband white young son, I am olive skinned mix Filipino.

If we were rude in any way, I could understand however I rarely am- and often times I'm overly respectful and a huge supporter of local businesses since I grew up with my father owning one. This is why I don't understand what I did.

I have been coming here few times over the year I live 40 minutes away . This is second time they over changed me... Today I noticed and told them ..they over charged me for rice $2 .. Last time I noticed they over charged me for cheese $6 I was already home . Also one other time I bought dried figs and they were bad and gross way pass expiration ..I couldn't come back since I live far To the owner cheating others won't make you rich .I don't want to support this unethical...
