The hidden jewel of the Eastside. Jasen's is a upscale furniture store that has been on the Eastside for quite sometime. A hidden gem!
We were at Costco in Roseville and decided to stop at Jasen's as we were looking for some new lounge chairs and they did not disappoint. Wide variety of chairs to choose from and also most chairs can be special ordered.
We were greeted by a sales representative named Stephen. He was a great guy. Professional, polite, knowledgeable about his products and just a joy to work with. Not pushy! Let us walk the showroom and pointed us in the right direction.
There are two floors full of all sort of different manufacturers and variety of styles to choose from and all different types of furniture to suit one's taste!
We ascend to the second floor were there was the one of kinds or discounted items/special orders that weren't delivered. We found two chairs that we had settled on after trying out several that were on the sales floor.
We pointed out to Stephen which ones we wanted and in no time we were at his desk concluding the sale and setting up delivery of our new chairs
Easy peezy nice n easy. From writing up the order to payment processing and setting al up delivery.
I can highly recommend Jasen's as this was our third time purchasing different furniture from them and will continue to do so.
If you are looking for something cheap this is not your store. Jasen's has good, great, awesome quality furniture and is far above most other furniture retailers that are out there. If you want quality furniture for your hard earn money and eaz of dealing with then Jasen's is your go to place.
Why do I say eaz of dealing with..you might ask. One of the chairs we settled on in the showroom we had decided to send back. Not because of quality but once this writer sat in the second chair (my father's choice) this writer decided to get the same chair but in a different color which had to be special ordered. The return of the chair was easy. I stopped in and spoke with Stephen and he helped arranged the pickup of the first chair, transferred the store credit from the first chair being picked up to the new invoice and let me know what my new balance was that I owed and informed me of when I could expect my new lounger
NOTE: The two chairs we had selected were canceled special orders from previous clientele of Jasen's.
Cannot say enough about the staff, Stephen and the experience of shopping at Jasen's. They are not like it was at Art Van's and other retail furniture stores were the sales representatives are sitting/standing at the front doors just waiting for you to come through the door to tackle you down. Jasen's acknowledges you and points you in the direction of the showroom of the furniture you are looking for and will assist in the decision making process for your questions you might have about the furniture you are looking at
They accept cash, credit cards, debit cards. Not sure on layaway.

Read moreI was reluctant to write this review, hoping that this furniture store would eventually do the right thing, I should have done this sooner in the hope to save other consumers the aggravation of dealing with this business, we purchased 2 recliners from here on march 21st, they were delivered on march 24th, these recliners cost 3,000 they were delivered with on chair defective and unusable, I called to ask when the repair on my new chair would be done, and was told they were not sure due to covid, well weeks went by without a response, so I called them again and ask to return the chair that was unused, and unusable, Debbie said she would talk to someone and get back to me,, again no response for weeks, I call again and get the same run around,, I asked for the working floor model, or to remove the part from it to fix my chair,, she said my part would be in the end of may, and that she would check on my request about either returning chair, or other options,,, again a month goes by without a response, in June i called american express to dispute the charges due to this stores inactivity to resolve this issue,, well guess who calls when they the find out I did that,, Debby, saying my part will be in the end of July, then they tried to recapture the money I had charged back, not sure what you told them but it worked, so I had to call american express again, to tell them that this issue is not resolved, and they returned my charge back again,,,sure enough Debbie calls again saying I wont get my part until SEPTEMBER, yes they think its okay to sell a consumer a product that does not work , and have them wait 7 Months for a repair,, that assuming it gets completed in September, so I ask again at this time to return the chair,, now she says I had it too long,,, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, I asked to do this back in March,, and you just ignored me, well Debbie this is not the last you will here from me. I will be contacting the states attorney generals office, and all other resources available to me until this is resolved, nobody should be forced to keep a defective product after purchase, and if covid is your excuse, then just take your product back,, why should I suffer. you got paid ,, I just want...
Read moreI most definitely bought a big, beautiful kitchen table and chairs from this business in June 2021. And I ordered an additional 2 kitchen chairs at that time too.. I really hate to give such a terrible review but the customer service was the worst experience ever. Dottie was the absolute worst. I was told the additional 2 chairs needed to be ordered and it would be 2 to 3 months. Now I didn't mind that it would take awhile but I let it go till 4 months and heard nothing. In fact the only time I heard from my sales associate was when I called her!! So after I call to inquire about the chairs I was told they weren't ready and it would be another month. So I was patient and waited a month and a half, once again no correspondence what so ever. So I called again and this time I was told she needed to call someone else and she would call me back. She didn't call me back, I had to call her again 2 weeks later. I was told they would be here in a few more weeks. So finally "my chairs" came in. I get to the store just to be presented with two chairs that did not match my set. And then was told it was my fault because she said I initialed the order. I was so baffled, because I only initialed the order SHE WROTE UP because she told me that it was all set and they would match my set. So now I had to deal with an array of issues to solve this problem. Fast forward another 2 and a half months and I finally got the right chairs. It sucks because this business has quality furniture but I will never shop here again, tell people where I got my table set or encourage anyone to choose this place.
