ADDRESS: 4885 McKnight Rd Ste 3 Pittsburgh, PA 15237 Location: At the intersection of McKnight Road and Siebert Road in Ross Township, Allegheny County, PA. About: I believe this strip mall was constructed in 1939. Its possible I am wrong about that year. Must have patience when trying to enter and exit the parking lot. Which is a little congested most of the time but I've always been able to find a spot to park. Exiting the parking lot can be more difficult during rush hour or high traffic times like weekends compared to entering but I've been frustrated doing both before. There are a fair amount of entrance/exits but leaving by McKnight Road can be a challenge when traffic is non stop. I dont even try to exit by the Siebert Road entrance/exit because cars are usually blocking that way due to the stop light at the intersection. I usually exit Mckight Road or go out the stop light intersection in front of Target & Staples. There are one way paths around this parking lot so beware of that. This is a strip mall type shopping center (each store has its own door way in and out. Each store has a covered entrance/exit as well. Compared to others in the area its a fairly small mall with quick food restaurants (not fast but not time consuming), stores and personal serivces business located with in. At this time these include Walgreens w/ pharmacy (biggest tenant), T-Mobile, Starbucks, Italian Village Pizza, UPS Store, Dry Cleaners, Bruegger's Bagels, Devine Nails & Spa, Anthony's Barbershop (which is one of my favorites), H&R Block, Sport Clips, Aladdin Inc. Eatery, Ubreakifix (electronics repair). I may have missed one or two business. But for me this Plaza can prove to be unavoidable just because the stores located here don't have another location or a location that is fairly close by. Which if you can't tell I wouldn't come here if I didn't have too. Just because of how difficult it is to manuaver your way in and out. I suggest trying to visit durning slow traffic times like early weekdays if possible. Its not the stores themselves that influenced my review this is for the mall overall mainly due to its unique corner location of a busy main road and its smaller footprint area...
Read moreUPS store at this location has Horrible customer service. I was just dropping off a prepaid Amazon return, and I must have missed the doors closing, no one would open the door for me to drop off the package. I knocked on the door repeatedly and was ignored and laughed at by all four people working there tonight . In fact, A Very Old gray- haired man who was working there stuck his tongue out at me through the closed doors and the glass wall. Outrageous to be treated like this, not only as a customer but especially as a person. The woman who runs this location has absolutely no idea how to talk to people in a civilized manner. I have had other horrible interactions with her and her staff. It would have been helpful for her just to be able to talk to me and help me figure out what I needed to do to get my package dropped off. She wouldn't even come to the door to speak to me. It's Christmas for...
Read moreJust a little strip mall with an assortment of stores and eateries. Starbucks, pizza place, froyo place, Walgreens, Sprint, Vacuum shop, haircut place, etc. Parking horrendously though. They must have had a contest for worst design ever, and instructed the contestants to use every Giant Eagle in exsistence as their inspiration. Winner got to add in massive pot holes for his special bonus prize. If you cut through the back, behind McDonald's to sneak into North Hills Village Mall that way, there were potholes covering almost the whole road. Two cars couldn't pass simultaneously they were so bad. They were so big and deep that if I would have driven over them, I'd now be stuck in a hole in the ground with my little SuBlu. It was atrocious and took them for-freaking-ever to finally fix them. Hopefully they don't get like that again...
