McKnight Bravo! has always been up and down with service. We've had both good and very bad experiences here. Tonight the food did not disappoint, but the service lacked. Therefore a mix of odd with a side of happy to be out and eating. There was a new manager here a while ago, and service had greatly improved. It seemed it had put the McKnight location on a good path, but it was not one they seemed to be following last night. We had a sluggish beginning to our evening, rounded out with more efficiency once our order was taken and then sluggish at the end again. Our meal: Spinach + Artichoke Dip, Chopped Salad, Crispy Shrimp Napoli, and Chicken Parmesan, beer and wine. Good eats as we have come to expect. Busy, yes, but not overly busy. Outside dining was a little more busy because it had fewer seating options, yet there were 3 tables to choose from. Inside, was not over-populated. TIP: Outside dining *mention to the host that's where you want to sit when you arrive. We called ahead for reservations and to make sure we could sit outside because it was a beautiful night. We did NOT need reservations, it was busy but not to the point of not finding a seat. We arrived and requested outdoor, the host went to check and found that there was seating available. But... As NOT busy as it was, tables were not being cleaned, and cleared outside. The host allowed me to choose what table we wanted and ALL needed to be wiped, or cleared and wiped. He wiped our table. However, there were still more surrounding tables that needed cleared from former patrons. These tables maintained dishes, empty glasses, wine bottles, etc. the entire time we ate. Kind of up for grabs. Outside and once seated, it took a good 10 minutes for a server to come around. I was wondering how we would fare, but it eventually came together. One server was tending his tables quite well because we saw him most of the time, but he was not our server. My only eye-brow raising moment was the aftermath of dining. He packaged up my shrimp and pasta, and we exited through the INTERIOR of the restaurant. (the gate on the exterior was blocked by both an umbrella pole and patrons dining, and we had already watched people shove through and disrupt them once). Our server was right at our table and had just taken receipt of the check, from my husband's hand as we got up to leave. He never mentioned we forgot our bag. I realized it when we got home. (I've seen the same scenario play out in different restaurants and the servers made sure they patrons had their bag, but it did not happen this way here) Yes, I could have remembered my leftovers, but I forgot. The server was right there, I wished he would have said something, he had time as we were outside walking through the restaurant. Sometimes its the small things that matter, but I guess when I think about it, if they couldn't get the tables cleared around us, looking at a bag on the table probably seemed normal.

We tried Bravo for the first time last night. Generally a very poor experience. We ordered our meal online. When checking 30 minutes later to make sure they got it, it turned out they didn't, so we placed our order over the phone then and were told to come pickup in 25 minutes. The restaurant ambiance seemed ok. There were few people eating-in (covid) though there were many pickup orders. After waiting in the alcove for 5-10 minutes they let me know they wrote down our order but forgot to place with the kitchen, so our food was never made. So I waited another 25-30 minutes for them to make it while I stood there. I asked them to throw in dessert and they did. The food quality and taste was fairly low. Eggplant parmesan was ok, but the fettuccini was overcooked with poor flavor. The salad looked like it was dumped out of a mixed bag from grocery store and greens were starting to wilt. The "garlic bread" was literally the top and bottom buns from a burger/sandwich with a little butter rubbed on it. We were shocked. Lobster bisque was very buttery, very salty seafood flavored liquid. Crab dip with pita wasn't great. We got to dessert and it appeared to be premade chocolate cake patties and vanilla ice cream patties. Didn't taste good and texture was weird. The ice cream was icy/chalky and not sure what is was really made of. We just threw it away. We bought a lot, thinking we'd have leftovers for the next day, but we just threw it all away instead. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff were genuinely apologetic for screwing up our order and I'm guessing maybe they were understaffed or something due to COVID. We definitely don't plan to go back though.

I came here for NYE dinner with 3 other people & made reservations for 7 pm. We got there at 703pm. When we walked in, the entryway was CROWDED. So many people standing around waited to be seated. When we approached the host stand and gave our name, we were told they were a little behind and we had a 30 min wait and we would be sent a text when our table was ready. what's the point of having a reservation was if they weren't going to honor it? We went to the bar for a drink as we waited. The bartender was super nice and attentive but that bar was disgusting & unorganized. Everyone looked like it was their second day on the job. Empty bottles sitting around. Everything looked like a cluster. Bigger parties were being sat before us, even though they came in after us. 30 min went by and we didn't get a text. We didn't get seated until 815 pm. I'm a server and a host at a local independently owned restaurant and they can get very busy, so I understand how it can be, but this was such bad service from the time we walked in. Our server advised us there were 2 other servers working the same area and if she wasnt around, They'd help us. We never were approached by them and all of them tending to the bigger parties more than the smaller parties. We never got updates on the ETA for our entrees or our salads. We got our salads at 9pm and entrees at 930. Plates were hot and you could tell they were sitting under the heating lamps for quite some time because the cheese on some of our entrees had a shiny look to it, as it does when it isn't freshly melted. We got our checks shortly after and didnt leave the restaurant until 1015pm.

The food was okay. None of us were super impressed. We...
