You get a ZERO (it would not take my post without giving at least one star). This is a message to corporate (not the store). I am inundated daily with email advertisement and coupon offers that are so mired in exclusions, that they are simply useless (or at best, immaterial to the transaction). I update my wardrobe at least once per year and spend $2-3k, usually all at once. I recently visited the Pittsburgh McKnight Road store and walked away from a $1,600 purchase based on principal and frustration at the $45 discount being applied to the entire order. If I simply purchase $100 of stuff, I would have received $30 discount. But for a $1,600 purchase, as most of the stuff I was buying were excluded in the fine print (which in email form is an *asterisk and hunt-to find game), I received an in-store discount of $15 per overpriced pant, and my $30 coupon was NOT applicable to anything. This is not the first time this has happened, but it will be the last time. DXL needs to elevate its "honesty" game. Stop sending misleading coupons. Nobody has time to find and read the fine print. Get rid of the janky bait and switch offers. DXL is off my...
Read moreI found a long Forgotton gift card for casual male Big & Tall. I took it in to DXL Manero in the North Hills Village Mall to spend it upon entering the store I was greeted by young lady name, Timmie Brown, who I found out was the store manager. She greeted me with the kindest smile I’ve ever seen and I explained my situation. She checked the card and it did have a large amount of money on it still. When I explained that I was getting over a severely broken ankle and surgery, and could she direct me to the items I wanted to buy. She was very gracious and thoughtful, and took me directly to them. I cannot stress enough how kind and thoughtful she was due to my injury. I most definitely will return...
Read moreHad a very bad experience there seemed like the guy that was working was burdened to help me out.only reason I stuck around is beacause I needed a suit that night. He told me that he would have to order the suit I ended up buying, but I looked for 5 minutes found it then waited 20 plus minutes to have him unlock the dressing room. Keep in mind there was only one other person in the store. Not good customer service at all. They definitely lost my business.
Just an update their regional manager called me was not able to take the phone call, called back left a message and still no response. To anyone thinking about using dxl go somewhere else it's not worth it. If I could give 0...
