Read moreI have to say I've never had a negative experience at any half price books I've been to, and it is quite a few in several states, but this one is getting my first review. I go to HPB and spend between 100-200 dollars every couple of months gathering new books to devour, but because of the pandemic I hadn't acquired any new reading material in quite a long time. I always pick my books based on covers and synopsis while walking the aisles, so not having that luxury is quite trying on my selection process. I ended up randomly clicking a bunch of different book recommendations from Goodreads and compiled a list, then checked the HPB website for this location and was able to see they had 14 of the titles.    Read morePeople are so silly. This place is amazing! If you're an avid, diverse reader, you'll love this place. If you're bringing a bunch of books here thinking you're going to walk out at the same socioeconomic level as Elon Musk, you're mistaken. This place has to make enough money to keep multiple stores open and pay hundreds of staff members. They're not going to give you a lot of money for your used books. If you can find another place that will give you more money for your books, then go for it! Oh yeah, you can't. You can either donate them or sell them all to Half Priced Books. Pick your poison. I sell books here all the time and have never been disappointed with the amount of money they offer. It's usually somewhere between 50 cents to 1 dollar per book. Sometimes you get lucky and you have a well desired title, and they'll give you a little more. It says right on their website that the types of books you have determines what they'll pay. The employees are so nice and respectful, and if you genuinely have a bad experience here, it's 100% your fault. Sorry to be the...
