I placed an order from your store in Roswell, GA. When I got there I was told that they tried to contact me because they were out of steak and that they substituted it for chicken. They never called or emailed me but I told them that it was fine. I grabbed my order and left. I got in my car, left, decided to check my order and saw that EVERYTHING about it was wrong. No kimchi in my Kickin' Kimchi and only a handful of spinach (I subbed spinach). My second order, Spicy Soba with Substitute Steamed Shrimp had no shrimp, barely any vegetables, and cold clumpy noodles.
I go back to the store to tell them what happened. After telling what happened the cashier tells me, "So what you want a refund?" No form of apology or nothing. I say yes because at this point I do not want anything BUT my money. She goes to the back to get someone else. I tell them what happened. They tell me that they cannot refund one of my orders because I hate half of it. I took maybe two bites before I realized ALL of what was missing from my order. I told her this. She told me that she made my order that it could not possibly be wrong. Basically accusing me of lying. She said that she could only refund half of my order. I agreed but was not pleased with that.
She told me that I had to wait because she had to do it online. So while I'm sitting and waiting I hear both girls mumbling. One saying "Does it look like I care?"
So I told her that I do not care if she cares just give me my money. The other girls comes from the back telling me that I need to leave before she calls the police. As I'm leaving she's (the girl from the back) is calling me all sorts of names.
This was my first and last time ever...

Update 4/22/18
This is a little overdue, but it's time that I update my review. Things have improved! We typically come in on a Saturday. Over the past few times, the improvements have been consistently good.
Update 12/17/2017
Today it's really just a bad day for Tin Drum. My understanding is that the cook is not there. The other one who is filling in is not trained well enough to do this. I had to return my order. They are out of sauteed chicken and some ingredients. Customers are upset. Orders are taking very long to cook... Over 35 minutes for me. They've apologized, but short of closing the door today, there's not much that the young employees can do.
Just a very bad day for them. The young staff cannot handle the pressure before them and they shouldn't have to.
November update....
Things continue to improve. The new renovations have finally completed allowing for more seating. The food is good and the rotation of new menus adds some interesting food flares.
Update 6-19-2017:
Things have really improved!
We've been trying them out again and are impressed with the changes. Edgar at the front always provides a warm welcome (we missed him) and the cooks seem to have stepped it up. The new menu seems to provide some excitement, but I still think some creativity could be given to the kids menu.
What changed? The quality of the food has just fallen off for some reason. We've been disappointed each of the last few times hoping it would getting better, but again today the order was wrong and didn't taste the greatest. BTW, bring back the full...
Read moreTin Drum Roswell needs to step up its game - bad, REAL BAD! I absolutely LOVE Tin Drum, and ever since I moved out of Georgia, it’s the only spot I go when I’m back in the Atlanta area for work. It’s legitimately the only saving grace for me when I visit this city; however, the past 2 trips to Atlanta, I’ve stayed in Roswell. I went to the nearby location, and both times it was awful!! My food smelled horrendous and tasted like rubber, zombies could have done a better job than the cashiers- they probably would have been friendlier too... the dining hall was a mess. All around it was just bad. Plus, my Panang Curry w/ fried tofu only had 4 pieces of tofu. I’m one of Tin Drum’s biggest fans - seriously... I was so upset!
If it’s your first time giving Tin Drum a shot, I do not recommend going to the Roswell location, BUT I would highly recommend checking out their Piedmont and/or Perimeter locations - they are well worth it. When Tin Drum is on, it’s on and freakin’ delicious!!
Tin Drum Franchise, please do something about your Roswell location... they need to...
