Over the years, I have carried plenty of old injuries, plus some new injuries from my neck, shoulders, arms, hips, and knees. Very much every joint / muscle I could injury, I have injured. After my long-time physical therapist decided to retire, I was forced to find myself another therapist that can work with me and really "fix" me. I am glad to find Dr. Wag, via one of his road show many years ago with CG, he has fixed my wrists - both sides, shoulders and my hips. Especially my right hip, that's a 40-year-old injury that I sustained since I was teen, while it took awful long time to work through it and knowing it would never be fully recovered, but working closely with Dr. Wag and Dr Linder, we achieved the near-painless. My dear daughter, who is an elite swimmer, who didn't know she has been sustaining very bad injuries on her two shoulders, depressing over her unable to swim faster, 10-month-long hard treatment with Dr. Wag & Dr. Linder, guess what, while all the head coaches counted her out, she swam her best time and beat everyone that looked down to her at the last championship season. She finished her career at very high note, being healthy, before she headed to college. Dr. Wag / Dr. Linder can not fix your broken bone, but they definitely can help to work on the muscles and allow us to regain our mobility and self-esteem. I hate being limp, I hate being disabled, and I am glad I have them to keep me and my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am visiting Texas from England for the main purpose of playing lots of golf with my son and husband. Our first base for our first week was Round Rock. 1st game of our vacation at Star Ranch and I have the round of my life, booming those tee shots. My husband commented heād never seen me hit the ball so well. I woke up the next morning unable to move my right arm properly and I had a lot of shoulder pain. I rang 2 Physiotherapists in Round Rock who couldnāt see me as I wasnāt a US citizen. My third call was to this place and Iām so glad I persevered. They had an appointment and my paying cash was no problem. I saw Dr Sarah Linder who quickly diagnosed that my rotator cuff and associated muscles in my shoulder were not happy. She manipulated my shoulder and gave me some pressure point exercises to do, which the friendly exercise technician showed me. Dr Sarah then āRock tapedā my rotator cuff up so I could continue to play golf. I walked away pain free and hopeful that my golf holiday wasnāt ruined. I immediately warmed to Dr Sarah, she was friendly, caring, professional and knowledgeable, I trusted her diagnosis and treatment. I am currently at the end of my 2nd week golfing in San Antonio and I have managed to play for 5 days in a row. I am so very grateful to Dr Linder and her team they are amazing at what they do and more importantly they care....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy son plays high school baseball and was injured with sciatica. (He was dealing with minor sciatica pain - level 1/2 for a few weeks prior. During a game, he slid into 3rd base with tremendous force and his leg hit the base at the wrong angle. ) Instantly, my son was in level 9 pain and couldn't finish the game. He needed immediate help with results to go back into baseball quickly. We were referred by a friend to Active Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation - Round Rock. My son could barely bend over when he went in to see Dr. Mitch Long. During our initial visit, Dr. Long took time to listen, discuss, and evaluate his injury. I was impressed with the care and course of action given each subsequent visit. Thanks to Dr. Long, my teenage athlete gained a quick recovery and returned to hitting home runs, playing catcher, and sliding into bases with ease again. We learned a lot about self care, and I love that my son was able to trust and feel like Dr. Long could relate to his sports needs. I highly recommend sending your athlete to get care from Dr. Long. He cares, connects, and creates...
