Pros: Responsive - always replied to my emails/texts pretty quickly.

Cons: Push junk equipment - They did my home network and used Luxul equipment which they claim to not mark up and only charge for installation. After investigating, I found out Luxul gives vendors a kick back for whenever they sell their equipment probably because it's overpriced garbage, my wifi dropped constantly, even right next to access points. I had them pick all the equipment up and hired someone else to install Ubiquiti equipment and it worked MUCH better and cost half the price. They charged me a restocking fee :)

Inexperienced Techs - my home theater had so many issues and they were out 5 times after installation to adjust it. It was a simple setup yet each appointment to fix the picture cutting out or sound issues or lag issues would take 2-3 hours, where the tech would watch a full movie at my house to make sure there weren't any issues. It was annoying, they replaced almost every part of the theater system through warranty and claimed they only had 1 more piece of equipment they needed to replace but I told them to stop coming back. A few days later I had the same person who installed my Ubiquiti equipment come out and he was able to fix all my theater issues in less than 10 minutes, nothing needed to be replaced.

Also, they claimed my wall could only fit a 100 inch screen for the projector when it easily fit a 120 inch screen. I couldn't return the 100 inch screen and ended up buying a 120 inch screen through them.

I asked for them to offer some kind of financial compensation for all the headaches and biz owner Travis claimed "they don't have the money". Do yourself a favor...

I recently purchased a home in Cedar Park, TX with a media room that was not being used to its full potential.

I reached out to AV Connect, and Nate and his team helped me design and install the home theater of my dreams.

We now have a 145” 4K projector system with Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 surround sound installed in the ceiling.

AV Connect was especially good at helping me customize my theater within a strict budget. They did not force me to buy their equipment, and a few pieces were purchased separately and installed as part of their broader installation package.

I’m also so glad I sprung for their contractor-grade screen and speakers. I was initially skeptical that either would make a big difference versus prosumer-grade options from Best Buy, Amazon, etc., but am absolutely floored by the final results. I believe that their high end components are absolutely more than marketing hype, and now have a system that delivers a sight and sound experience that’s as good or better than the standard presentation at my local AMC theater (not including IMAX and Dolby Çinema formats, of course).

Nate and A/V connect team were a pleasure to work with, arrived and installed on time, and cleaned up nicely after themselves when the installation was complete. They gave me great advice throughout the process and I will absolutely use them again when it’s time for an upgrade.

My htib was no longer working properly, so my wife gave me the go ahead to purchase a new home entertainment system. A family member suggested I call AV Connect and set up a consultation with them. Chris showed up to my home and we discussed what I was looking for in a sound system. He listened attentively and came up with a proposal that would best suit my budget and goals for a new system. He did an awesome job of listening to what I wanted to implementing the plan.

Within a couple of weeks of deciding upon a system, Will and Frank showed up to my home for the actual installation. Both guys were very professional and friendly. All I can say is that I could not be more happy! They spent over seven hours installing new speakers and subwoofer, programming my receiver and remote, hooking up all my entertainment consoles, adding applications to my phone to make my listening and viewing experience easier, and making sure that I fully understood my new system. I could not ask for a better customer experience. I never felt rushed and now have an amazing home theater system.
