For starters, I would like to mention that I did not get flowers pressed for my own use. I paid to get my cousinâs bouquet pressed as a wedding gift from her sister and I.
There are multiple things that are going into this review and why I feel as though they are 100% worth the 5 stars.
COMMUNICATION: Throughout this entire process I have had great communication with Andrea and her staff. Everything was communicated through email which was great because I live in Southern California, my cousin lives in Northern California, and Designs by Andrea is based out of Texas! If I had any questions I know that I could reach out to them via email or even Instagram message! I know they have a Facebook page, and although I did not use it for a source of communication, I feel as though they would have had no problem answering any questions I had through there. They do have a phone number you could call, but I never had a question that needed to be answered right away.
PROCESS: Everything was beyond amazing and easy. Once deciding to go through with getting her bouquet pressed & getting a confirmation that thereâs availability for that weekend based on the wedding date, I received an email with VERY clear instructions as to what to expect throughout the next upcoming months. With the purchase of this keep-sake they created a bridal portal and it was great to refer back to when we were getting ready to ship the flowers. It gave info on how to ship them, what things to look out for when shipping and so much more! It helped me feel confident in what I was doing in order to get the flowers out safely to them. Once the petals were ready, I was sent an email in regard to how the bride wants the petals pressed for the design. I let my cousin fill out the questionnaire, and with it they have the option to also go over anything for better clarification, etc. over the phone which I think is great! Over the phone they were able to change the original choice of frames to premium frames (for an additional cost), and go over a few more simple details that helped tie up any loose ends (if there were any).
PURCHASING: When it comes to payments, and confirming what you want your bouquet to look like, the Designs by Andrea team made it really clear and detailed so they can create something that YOU want and definitely adds to the overall excitement and experience. Since the brideâs sister and I are in college, getting extra funds together for an all upfront payment would have been hard, so we decided to do a payment plan. The payment plan was broken up into 4 different payments that were easy and non-costly for the both of us.
QUALITY: The quality of the piece we had done is amazing! Andrea and her crew definitely pieced together the flowers to create a graceful and elegant design. I think it's awesome that every design is not the same! The quality and frame of this work are sturdy as well!
OVERALL: I could not be more thrilled and happy with my experience with Designs by Andrea. They have gone out of their way to make us feel like theyâre grateful for our business and worth their time. I hope to go through them when I get married, when the time comes. Seeing them post their work on Instagram and watching their stories makes me so excited because I know these people are getting quality work, and I can only imagine how excited these customers must be to see their work in the process!
Thank you...
Read moreI stumbled across this company back in 2020. My daughter wasnât getting married until October 2021, so I inquired and decided this was a great idea for her bouquet. I also added on my corsage for framing. At the last minute I added two ring diamonds. Communication with the company is simple, they are very responsive. I found sending the flowers to be extremely expensive (they have to be sent within 48 hours and overnightedâŚit was over 300.00 just for that). When you do this understand that they have creative control once you pick your orientation, frame etc and they donât show you how it looks before itâs sent back. I had to request it, and was also told that if I wanted anything changed there would be a shipping delay and a charge to change it. The package came about 6 months after her weddingâŚThe pictures were wrapped perfectly and everything shipped without any issue. My daughters picture is a 16x20 and is gorgeous with the invitation in the center. Mine is ok. I was super disappointed in the ribbon, it wasnât even pressed and is wrinkled. You would think that someone would have been paying attention to the smaller details like that. Also I was told that they would âpaintâ or substitute flowers. My white flower has a brown spot, itâs either a piece of the center that fell or just a spot but I feel like it could have been noticed. Again, super disappointed. The diamonds were ok. I expected them to look like they do on Instagram or her web site instead itâs a few random leaves. Iâm so thankful that my daughters turned out amazing because the rest was meh.
In response to your comment: 1. I donât need to speak to my florist about the ribbon, she used a bracelet the day of the wedding. Your representative contacted me about it and said ribbon would be my best option but didnât tell me it wouldnât lay flat. Something that probably shouldâve been addressed. 2. The comment about 6 months wasnât a complaint rather a statement and part of the compliment on how well wrapped the pictures were. 3. This process was very expensive and while Iâm incredibly happy with the outcome of my daughters 16x20 piece, I am very disappointed in the diamonds. I just didnât feel the quality...

I didnât know how much Iâd truly fall in love with my wedding flowers until I saw them on that day, and it made me even more excited to know I made the decision to get them preserved. The whole process from mailing my flowers to finalizing my designs couldâve felt stressful or intimidating, but Andrea and her team were so accommodating and helpful the entire time.
I originally booked an 8x8 resin block, but during my consult I was told I had enough flowers to upgrade to an 11x11. I never felt forced or like I was just being sold to, and it was an easy decision to upgrade. I was then later told that even though I had booked a resin block, they had also pressed some of my leftover flowers just in case I wanted a pressed piece as well. Once again, it never felt pushy, and I took the leap to add a pressed piece since otherwise the rest of my flowers would go to waste. This all to say: just trust me⌠make it a set and get both types of preservation!!! I canât imagine it any other way after receiving them, and I am so grateful that her team presented me with all my options every step of the way and empowered me to feel confident in my final decisions.
I couldnât be happier with the final products and their quality - Designs by Andrea is truly the best of the best and booking them to preserve my flowers was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. My wedding day is of course so sentimental to me, and it makes me beyond happy that Iâll get to look at and enjoy those flowers forever through these thoughtful, gorgeous pieces of art. I sincerely canât thank Andrea and her team enough!!!
ââââââââ I recently booked my floral preservation with Andrea after getting a glowing recommendation from my bridesmaid after her wedding. I am already so excited to work with her! Even just in booking, I have received wonderful customer service and can already tell the thought and care put into each client. Counting down the months until I can join my bridesmaid in having a beautiful...
