I read the reviews and figured this was a good place to have drawer chests made for a custom closet I was building. 2- 6 drawer sets and a 4 drawer set. Mario seemed attentive, accommodating. When the job was finished I drove to pick them up, his shop had some really well made pieces. Unfortunately my build was not made to anywhere near the same quality. When I picked up the pieces they were already wrapped in plastic and I was unable to check their work. When I got home and unwrapped them, it seemed obvious why they were wrapped when I picked them up. Most (and I mean most) of the drawers wouldn’t open/close smoothly they were binding. Drawers were assembled worse than I can really exlain. Held together with finish nails instead of screws and randomly nailed. Just not how it should be done. The drawer bottoms were stapled into the bottom of the drawer boxes and not grooved in like they should be. After I spent a week fixing the fit of the drawer boxes and painted, my wife and I went to load the drawers with clothing and the bottoms inevitably fell through due to the poorly stapled bottoms. I’ve spent a month on this project and the one thing I used a “professional” for ended up being a mistake. If you use Mario, go over his work with an eye for shortcuts and poor craftsmanship before you pay. He can do a good job but it seems like he will cut corners if not...

If you are looking for a quality piece of furniture at a fair and reasonable price, this is the place! We visited Mario at the shop to discuss a large cabinet unit. He listened and quickly sketched exactly what we were looking for, but that wasn’t the end. He asked if he could come to our home to see the space. He was at our house within two days in the evening after we got home from work. Once at the house he made some key suggestions that made the cabinet spectacular; instead of a free standing cabinet, he designed the cabinet so it looked like it was built into the wall and I would never have to worry about all those dust bunnies under the cabinet that everyone could see when they came up my steps. He really listened and helped us design something with with small details that made a huge difference. When the cabinet was done, he delivered and installed the unit. He vacuumed my floor too! UPDATE: Mario contacted me a few months ago and wanted to make things right. We had a little bit of a tough time between weather and scheduling conflicts but he came yesterday with a whole new swing to make sure my wife and I are happy with our purchase. It's good customer service when a business not only stands behind their product but also strives for customer satisfaction. I recommend this business.

ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 10 MONTHS AGO: Purchased a 4' cedar log swing for $477 which included delivery and setup. When the swing arrived a month later the legs were about a foot too long, the holes at the top were drilled very sloppy and on an incorrect angle, and the seat was not attached at the correct angle making it uncomfortable to sit on. Mario re-drilled one of the holes so that it was straighter and shortened the legs but quite honestly the entire assembly was very sloppy, especially for what we paid.
